Probably a good surgeon
First time meeting Dr. Suh and based on his “great” reviews, I drive 45 min to see him. His first question…why are you here? Aren’t there any doctors near you?? Pretty rude, but I brush it off. He continues to take my history, stating my previous procedure was a failure (even though I managed to maintain my weight loss for 11 years). He then tells me it’s my fault I’ve gained weight and tells me I’ve “ruined” my own metabolism. Unbelievable. Talk about gaslighting. After he leaves, I am left in tears. His nurse comes in and tells me she is sorry but he just came from a conference where they’ve found out that all the advice they’ve been giving patients on protein bars and shakes is wrong bc they are loaded with chemicals and flavor additives. Well, isn’t that a shocker?? Geez, doc, please don’t take it out on me!!! Anyways, I will not be using him as my surgeon, he was rude and blamed me for my genetic predisposition to obesity (which is a disease affecting millions of people). Bye!!
