Unpleasant and uncaring
Bowers was on the schedule foe the date of my scheduled c-section In 2024. I met her once beforehand and she was condescending and aloof. The day of the actual c-section she asked me DURING procedure if I had had an infection following my previous c-section and I answered 'no.' She continued to make comments about the amount of scar tissue i had and that it wasnt easy to cut me open and I found it inappropriate as far as the timing to say the least. The worst part was at my follow up a few weeks later to have the dressing removed by another provider who was VERY surprised to see STAPLES were used to close the wound. My previpus c-section had left me with NO SCAR and Bowers left me not only a HUGE scar but a painful one as well. It is now March 2025 and I am having pain at the incision sight. I do not recommend her for OB care.

Worst bedside manner, doesn’t care
I just saw this women at Winchester Labor and Delivery. I just had an emergency cerclage on Friday and came in for a lot of discharge today. She came in the room “ you’re here for discharge, they told you that would happen right?” I went to show her my discharge I brought in and had picture form to she goes “ I don’t look at that it grosses me out” excuse me why are you even in labor and delivery, why are you even a doctor. She made me feel like trash for coming in and annoying her. Saying “ you should have called your OB they always have a doctor on call” I did call but they said either go to L&D or waiting for them to open. I lost my daughter in 2023 because I didn’t listen to my body that will not be happening with my son! She should not be a doctor! If anything shall happen because she didn’t listen, I’m so going after her license.

Absolutely the best!!
I found out about Dr Bowers and her practice late 2023 and started going there when i was pregnant with my second son. I had nothing but great experiences, when I found out I had a complete placenta previa I was scared out of my mind and I had a hugeeee list of questions for Dr Bowers and she came in sooo calm and reassuring every time, and would make me feel so much better leaning the office. This is the first time I’ve actually felt like a Dr truly cares about me as a person instead of “just another patient” i never once felt rushed by her or anything. Because of my previa, I had to have a c section which i was also terrified of and she was so quick and thorough and after the birth she came to check on me several times, at least once a day, she is truly amazing and I really couldn’t recommend her enough to anyone. Thank you so much Dr Bowers for being so amazing, I’ll be coming here for life!

Rude and Condescending
I was referred to Dr. Bowers by my longtime OBGYN for weight loss treatment. I have gained 25 lbs. in a short period of time and no amount of diet and exercise has been effective. Dr. Bowers spent about 90 seconds with me, introducing herself and asking me what I was doing there. When I said I had been referred for weight management she stated that she “could help me but won’t.” She stated that my BMI was within the normal range but when I tried to explain that my weight gain was extreme and not normal for me, she just repeated that she “would not help me.” I have never been treated so dismissively by a physician.

Horrible patient care
I went in for emergent medical attention after being sick for a week at 7 months pregnant and hypoglycemia in the middle of the night. She didn’t do any labs other than a urine drug screen and when I tried to explain what was going on she interrupted and said what happened today. She asked what I was here for and what do you want. She didn’t do anything for me, but did send a consult for mental health to calm me. I’m beyond insulted and as a health care professional myself this woman shouldn’t be caring for expectant mothers her bedside manner and practice is horrible. When someone tells you their glucose is 65 and you do nothing. I will never allow her to care for me again

Excellent doctor who is very responsive and caring
I have seen Dr. Bowers many times in connection with various men's health issues. She is absolutely fantastic. I have not had such a responsive, helpful and empathic doctor in decades. She is a real credit to her profession and she is now my go-to doctor.

The BEST OB
Dr Bowers has been my doctor for the last 3 years and delivered one of my babies. She opened a practice in a new location a year ago and even though fairly far away, I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else. She is the most honest, down to earth, empathetic doctor - Helping woman at such a special time in their lives was definitely her calling!

Worst obgyn
Dr. Bawers was the worst. I was in the er for endometriosis and my IUD has moved. She assessed me and was not professional or calm in her demeanor. Without fully understanding my past medical history she offered up a lot of potential diagnoses, one of them being cancer, and I don’t feel as though that is appropriate to cause excess worrying in a situation where my symptoms are related to ongoing, already diagnosed, medical conditions. She was wrong about everything having to do with endometriosis. She said most women don’t experience pain with it and that she would not take out my IUD even though ultrasounds confirmed it had moved and was causing excruciating pain. She was rude, condescending, and gave me extreme anxiety offering a differential diagnosis of cancer so haphazardly. My specialist and other doctor in the er told me not to listen to her

Dr. Bowers was the surgeon attending my c-section. After asking how I was feeling & my reply being anxious, she said "well it's my understanding this is what you wanted," to which I replied, "It is, the other option isn't something we're interested in." "You mean the way women have been doing it for millenia." "No, they wanted to induce..." She continued to make snide remarks with no history on my case, including that I was diagnosed GD, concern about the baby's size, and that my cervix wasn't favorable for induction and I was high risk for a C anyway... AND she had the nerve to bark at my husband mid-surgery after the anesthesiologist told him to stand up to peek at my daughter being pulled out. No please, just "Sir, sit down" At one point I felt like someone was sitting on my chest and she sharply stated "it's because your uterus is on the outside." Nasty, nasty woman. Avoid at all costs. I will be filing a formal complaint with the hospital. Disgusting conduct.

I had a cesarean section with Dr. Bowers because my baby was breech. I had really hoped for a vaginal delivery but in the end, we had a beautiful experience. She used a clear drape so my husband and I could see some of what was happening (not too much!) and I got to see my baby right away. I really appreciate how hard she tried to make this a good experience for our family.

Dr Bowers worked hard to give us the delivery experience we wanted with a family friendly cesarean. We had the window in the drape, she delayed cord clamping, my husband cut the umbilical cord and the baby came straight to my chest for skin to skin IN THE OR! She was the best!
