I had an appointment as a new patient and I waited a long time for the doctor to show up. They put another patient ahead of me who had no appointment & doctor was annoyed with this. She came in mad & took it out on me. She told me that because I never had any children, I will have a very difficult time with pain the rest of my life. I always wanted children, but I have had a lot of medical problems throughout my life. Having children could never be an option. I was appalled at how she treated me. It was very upsetting to be treated in this manner. If you want compassion DON’T go to Dr. Zitner. She should not be practicing medicine!

Absolutely impossible to get an appointment. No way to get in within 4 months and office staff makes it sound like they are purposely trying not to accommodate. Very impersonal office now that they answer phones for entire Mount Sinai offices.

Not if you value your time. I had a 6:30 appointment for a simple checkup and left the office at 8:10. I was keep waiting in both her office and the exam room for inexcusably long times. No apology or explanation was offered.

Dr. Zitner is calm, caring and thorough. I always feel at ease during my exams and under excellent care. Her questions are well thought-out and to the point. I never feel rushed when discussing my concerns or questions. Her staff is polite and conscientious. I am glad to have her as my doctor.

Dr Zitner has been my doctor for 32 years. She delivered my four children and treated me for various other conditions. I have the utmost confidence in her. Her expertise and her calm demeanor made difficult conditions bearable. Her diagnosis and treatment were excellent with a great follow up. She cares about and is interested her patients.
