Dr. Denise Gee, MD

I met Dr. Denise Gee in October, 2020 for a hiatal hernia. She is by far kind, compassionate, empathetic and confident in her field. She made me feel safe and that I was in the best hands possible and she was right. My recovery was as expected for this kind of procedure and she is extremely knowledgeable and very understanding and helped me through my recovery and put me at ease as I am high anxiety! I recommend Dr. Denise Gee highly. One of the most skilled surgeons At Massachusetts General Hospital!

I thought she was great! Her staff was very responsive to any of my questions! Dr Gee was extremely pleasant and my surgery went great!

Dr. Gee is excellent and would refer others to her. The only bad thing I would have to say is her assistant was a bit difficult to deal with.

Based on a recommendation by another physician, I chose Dr Gee to perform a gastric sleeve procedure for me in April this year From my first meeting with her through post-surgical follow up I found her to be a pleasant, patient medical practitioner who took whatever time I required to gain a good understanding of my procedure and the likely outcomes I was never kept waiting for appointments, and her manner gave me confidence. Excellent results. She is a fine physician. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Gee is an excellent surgeon, highly skilled. I could barely tell I had surgery.

She is all business, but she definitely seems to know her business.....and while other reviewers might not have thought her bedside manner was lacking....her knowledge is not. I found her serious and matter of fact....she told me like it was and I appreciated that.

As soon as she is in, she seemed in a big hurry. Very reluctant to answer any questions. After the appointment she walks me to her assistant Tamika. She gives me the first appointment that is available. When I enquire for dates early in the week she gets irritated. I get an appointment anyway. Later on I call for another question, she tells me to call after 4:30 pm and hangs up. Subsequent calls all go into voice mail. Needless to say I left a voice mail cancelling my appointment.
