Dr. Linzer truly took her time with me. We spoke for a very long time and she really cared about what I had to say. I recommend her!

My Angel
I was in extreme stomach pain one weekend and my husband called Dr Linzer and she called him right back on Monday and Dr. Linzer was off and not in the office this day. He told her my symptoms and She immediately sent me for a test at regional radiology. By the time we walked to the car after the test Dr. Linzer called my husband and said take her to NYU ER NOW. I had a blockage in my colon. She called the hospital and arranged for the best surgeon, who was ready to leave the hospital but he stayed, at her request, to operate on me. I was in surgery an hour later. If it had not been for Dr. Linzer going above and beyond I would not be alive. Dr. Linzer is my Angel, she saved my life. I am Forever grateful. Dr. Linzer is a caring, kind and extremely intelligent doctor and I highly recommend her.

Started out good.
I was taking aback how cold the doctor was yesterday. I felt like a new patient but yet I wasn’t. Used a new insurance and need a few pills until I got my new prescription and ask her about that you would have thought I asked for money. If I was not a real Christian it would have went another way. I told her I will get it even if using this insurance for the first time and when I got to the pharmacy I got them for a very reasonable price. As usual my God stepped in. I am shocked at the get in and get out attitude at the doctors office today. I’m not asking for charity. I’m disappointed but I trust God no matter what. I hope this never happens to anyone else. Really telling me I don’t have any samples and as my doctor never informing me of a way to help. Thanks for not caring for your patient. God bless

I would not recommend her.
She is one of the worst PCP I had in my entire life. All she does is gives referrals to other doctors when certain things could be treated from her. It seems like she is lazy and don’t want to be bothered with it, which is bad especially if you need the treatment right away rather then scheduling another appointment with someone else. One time I went to a specialist and the nurse and the PA said mentioned that “your PCP didn’t even write you a prescription for an issue you had and you had to wait for a while to see us, that isn’t right, we’re sorry to hear that.” As another reviewer mentioned, phoning patients is not her style. Dr. Linzer is complete disgrace to her patients and NYU Langone. I don’t understand why they keep her there.

Not a Comfortable Experience
I made this appointment in hopes of finding a new primary care doctor for an upcoming surgery. The Doctor had absolutely no interest in hearing about the surgery I had a year ago and the Spine and orthopedic issues that keep me in Pain Management two times a month. She was very rigid and unfriendly. I never got to tell her that it's only the past month that I'm able to drive myself around, because she kept cutting me off constantly. Instead she chose to admonished me for not taking care of routine annual testing and dental care. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable around her and cut the visit short. I prefer Doctors who care for me as a whole person.

Went in for a physical and Dr. Linzer suggested an ear cleaning since I was already there. I had no pain or discomfort but she had performed the procedure the year before and charged a minimal amount and with insurance I paid $23. This year the same procedure was sent to my insurance for over $700! Of course, my insurance company is not covering that ridiculous amount. Also I am paying $600 for a Vitamin D bloodwork test that she took in the office! To top it off NO ONE CALLS ME BACK!! I have now decided to work with my insurance company by grieving these bills. Dr Linzer and her office are terrible.

I have seen Dr Linzer in and off for 18 yrs. I ALWAYS go back to her when I do not necessarily agree with the “insurance” doctor I am assigned to. She had been more thorough than any doctor I have seen. I would highly recommend Dt Linzer to any friends or family. Top notch , thorough, excellent diagnostician!!

I had an abdominal ultrasound and Dr Linzer requested I come in for results. Had the appointment and she told me there was a remote chance I might have cancer but she wanted to speak to the radiologist who performed the test first. She spoke to him that very night and after several weeks and messages later I showed another doctor my results and he is sending me for another test and gall bladder may need to come out. Dr Linzer-I am still waiting for a call. You are a disgrace to your profession.

Scheduled a physical with Dr. Linzer after my doctor in the same practice retired. Waited 50 minutes just to get in a room, after hearing that she will always run late. While asking when I would be seen, a family member of Dr. Linzer's came in and they brought him in before me, the scheduled, paying patient. Fasted all day for a physical for nothing. I never even saw the doctor, so disrespectful, I'll find another.
