I agree with the previous reviewer, the receptionist who answers the phone gives you advice on medication without consulting with the doctor. If you have questions, the manager says, “the doctor nor the nurse practitioner return phone calls”. This is totally unacceptable. You are on your own. Doctor is not compassionate at all. Staff is rude and argumentative.

Dr. Parikh is an excellent GI Doctor. I come from New Jersey to see Dr Parikh. He was the only Dr. who helped me. I had been misdiagnosed by many. I highly recommend Dr. Parikh and his office is also wonderful. They are all very accommodating and very compassionate.

With a case of ulcerative colitis that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, my previous Dr. treated me for 15 years. My family and friends knew to never stand between me and the men's room. We never controlled the flare ups and he finally recommended surgery. Thank God I found Dr. Parihk!! Within a few months of my "second opinion", I was on course and getting better. Eight years ago Dr. Parikh gave my life back to me. I can't remember my last flare up. Waiting room time varies but worth it!

Dr. Parikh has been my GI Dr. since 2002. I had to write this review because I know how hard it is to find a doctor who genuinely cares for his patients. He is always available and his staff is very accommodating to all of my needs.

While his bedside manner is great I have been seeing Dr. Parikh for about a year with no real resolution to my medical issue which we assumed were GI related due to my symptoms. After a colonoscopy, endoscopy and even surgery my primary doctor had decided to send me to a urologist and they have found issues in my kidneys. Now, I know this is not Dr. Parikhs field but I assumed somewhere along the line he would've advised me to see a different specialist and not just sent me for test after test.

The problem with this office is with the receptionist and the people who work in the office. They are there only to collect money. They are disorganized and clueless. If you call the office regarding your medication, instead of letting you to speak with the clinicians, they will start to give you advice about medication. They even told me to stop the medication that I was taking without consulting the doctor. Do not listen what both receptionist tell you.

Thankfully, we have only seen Dr. Parikh for diagnostic and preventative screenings. However, he is so very thorough in his preliminary exams that he uncovers every aspect of your daily activities. He therefore helps you make proper decisions in diet and other daily functions. He has helped us very much

This specialist has a horrible bedside manner. I had a colonoscopy procedure done by him. While getting my results this doctor walked out of the room to answer a phone call that took almost 10 minutes. Upon his return he said nothing and stared at his computer screen for another few minutes saying nothing. When he gave the news. I thought I was dying but I was actually in great health. Never have I felt so terrified while receiving good news. He does not respect his patients plain and simple.
