My son was on the fence at the end of the process about whether or not to have the gastric bypass procedure because of the fear of the unknown. Dr. Havaleshko helped him to see the benefits and gained his trust and confidence that this was the best path. As a family, we value Dr Havaleshko and Wentworth Douglass Bariatric Program. He helped to give my son the strength to choose this path for himself. He is personable and caring about the health and wellness of my son and this shines through in every interaction that he has with him. This surgery has been a huge success and a big part of that has been all of the members of the Bariatric care team at Wentworth Douglass Hospital and especially Dr. Havaleshko.

He did my surgery to remove a carcinoid tumor from my colon. Excellent surgeon and bedside manor! He saved my life!!! His PA is also wonderful! Very intelligent….listen and follow what he says-I just am so thankful for him and his staff!!!!

Dr Havaleshko removes my gallbladder. He is very thorough, kind, and to top it off has great sense of humor!

He is very good doctor at my consultation he explained everything that was going on with my gallbladder what steps needed to be taken. He is very respectful, intelligent and very kind. He listened to my concerns and what symptoms I had and he responded and explained things very well. I would recommend him 100 percent.

He is a wonderful Doctor

Dr. Havaleshko is personable, patient and really takes the time to go over all options, procedures etc. I felt extremely well taken care of and that gave me great piece of mind. I would suggest him without hesitation, he is a great Dr. and surgeon.

This was my first experience with Dr. Havaleshko and I found him very easy to deal with. It came up very suddenly and they got me an appointment in a very timely fashion. He went to lengths to explain my options to me so I could make an informed decision on which path to follow. He also made the surgical experience as good as it could be. His operating room staff is to be commended also - great people. I would not hesitate to go to him again if I needed surgery.

This was my first time with Dr Havaleshko and I was genuinely pleased with him. He listened to what my issues were and explained how the procedure would go. At the post op follow up appointment he went into detail about what went on, any issues he discovered and how he proceeded to deal with them (in my case, problem was more serious than expected) and made sure all my questions were answered. All in all, I find him to be an excellent surgeon who takes his work and his patients seriously.

He's exactly what you want and expect a doctor to be. When the phone rang two days after my surgery I was shocked to hear his voice. He called to let me know about my biopsy and check how I was feeling? After surgery I felt great immediately and have minimal scarring. Best surgeon I have ever dealt with.

I used to be a patient of Dr. Looser so this was my first time meeting Dr. Havaleshko. He was very nice. He took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. I feel confident with him handling my up coming procedure.
