I had a consultation with Dr. Peters recently. The office staff was very friendly, considerate and respectful. My wait was less than 10 minutes. Dr. Peters listened to my concerns, gave great detail on all procedures and did not rush my visit. I will recommend him to anyone.

Scheduling an appointment
Dr. Peters was highly recommended by a few ladies at my church. I have been experiencing severe pain in my right knee. I followed their protocol and got a referral and x-ray from my primary doctor. They flat out refused to schedule me for even a consultation because my A1C was 8. Not taking into consideration I have worked very hard at bringing it down from a 12!! Very disappointed that they would not even take the time to see me. I manage a very busy dental practice and cannot imagine turning patients away.

Excellent orthopod, terrible office staff
Dr Peters performs a new twist to the anterior approach total hip replacement as perfected at Hoag Institute in Irvine, CA. I was ambulatory immediately upon arrival in post-op and my pain level was 0/10. I remained painfree throughout my recovery and had few restrictions, all of which were lifted at my 6-week appointment. His office staff did not return my pre op calls re scheduling and I met Dr Peters for the first time approximately 5 days before surgery, and only at my insistence. A PA saw me prior to that, and again post op until I again insisted on seeing Dr Peters at my 6 week checkup.. Later I needed something faxed to my PCP. After multiple calls to voicemail, i spoke with a human and explained what was needed and even provided the physician’s fax number. It never happened. Gave me an uneasy feeling but I told myself that the office staff fortunately does not perform surgery.

Great and kind doctor
Dr. Peters has an aura about him that is so calming. It puts a patient in complete confidence. He is very kind and empathetic to his patients needs. He explains things well but is also willing to answer as many questions necessary to help a patient understand. He’s a blessing to many.

No more pain
He replaced both hip joints 3 months apart. Back to work after 3 weeks with both. Experiencing no pain at all now. Dr. Peters and his staff are amazing.

This man is amazing. He replaced my hip in December of 2019 and I am a new woman. It's like I never had any problems with my hip at all. I have full range of motion and had no set backs. I was up walking 2 hours post on without issues. I very highly recommend Dr. Peters. His technique and bedside manner is outstanding and exceptional.

The wait wasn't long. The visit was short and sweet after he looked at x-rays he said "I wouldn't touch you with a 10 ft. pole" Never told me what I could do or any thing.

I believe this man is an excellent surgeon but has no bedside manner and washes his hands of you after surgery. Saw him today for a 3 month follow up. I still have pain that is probably not related to the hip. When I asked him what else it could be, he said, "who knows with you" You focus on the pain too much and probably don't even have pain. When I told him that I was seeing another Dr. to evaluate if the pain was coming from outside the hip, he told me I need to quit seeking Dr.'s because they were just going to do more treatments and make things worse. I really liked him before this appointment. I am very disappointed. I wish I could transfer the pain to him so he would know it is not in my head.
