Dr. Donald Schleicher II, DO

Dr. Schleicher helped me three years ago while he was with Regional Brain and Spine in Cape Girardeau, MO. When he met me, I was in such horrific pain and was unable to move my legs and was in the ER at Southeast Hospital. I was crying uncontrollable due to all the pain I was experiencing. He told me he could help me and asked me, if I wanted him to fix me. I immediately responded 'YES'. He performed back surgery on my back the next morning, and after surgery, I was able to move over into the hospital bed unassisted and was able to walk again. After three years, I still appreciate everything he did for me on that day. That was absolutely the most terrifying day of my life not knowing if I would ever be able to use my legs again.

Great experience all around. Very good doctor and PA. Nurses are also very good. Even have very professional receptionist. Dr Schleicher is the best. If you need surgery I highly recommend him. Pain was gone immediately after surgery. I did have surgery pain but not the awful hip and leg pain. He is very nice too.

He is a very promising doctor southeast should be glad to him on their team I would recommend him to everyone I know for his expertise love that doctor

I have been very pleased with Dr. Schleicher and his staff with my care including the pre-surgical appointments, the surgery and follow-up. He performed extensive surgery on my cervical spine with excellent results. Thank you to all including the hospital staff who provided my post-op care in the hospital.

Dr. Schleicher performed 2 different spinal surgeries on me in early 2021. I have had great outcomes from both. 1st, I want to praise the support staff at RBS. They made quick appointments for me. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Tyler and Jared answered all my many questions and explained the problems and solutions. When it became apparent I needed surgery, they quickly scheduled my pre-surgery tests, and then my actual surgical dates. 2nd, Dr. Schleicher did great. He has a good bedside manner, exudes confidence, says what has to be said. My results speak for his surgical ability. In the 5 weeks after the lower spinal surgery, I was able to hike 90+ miles, the month after that, 100+ miles. My pain level went from 9-10 down to barely 1, if that. I highly recommend Dr. Schleicher and the staff at RBS. My quality of life has greatly improved.

Very personable and thorough. Went over planned procedure explaining his diagnosis and explanation to opt for surgical intervention. Felt most relaxed and confident about his capabilities. I have NO regrets for surgical procedure, it resolved multiple issues with entire spine.

I had major back surgery January 2020 I am now pain free and went back to work full duties just 4 months later, I highly recommend dr.schleicher to anyone who is going to be having back surgery, I would do it all over again

I would highly recommend Dr. Schleicher and I have been since my surgery. Dr. Schleicher came to preop and checked on me and that helped me relaxed and I knew I was in good hands. I could not have been cared for any better by the staff at Southeast Hospital.

He has a great bedside manner. Jared Lewis, PA was also extremely helpful and easy to talk to. Dr. Schleicher performed my surgery in January 2020. I am so glad I chose to have it done. Dr. Schleicher is excellent. He listens and truly cares. He is an expert surgeon and has given me my life back! The complete team at RBS are amazing! The staff is very efficient and show that their goal is to help their patients. The wait time is never long and yet they never seem rushed. I fully recommend Dr. Schliecher as an expert surgeon and amazing doctor! I would give 100 stars if it were possible!

Fantastic experience, Dr. Schleicher is awesome & has a wonderful personality. Went home day after surgery & doing so well released after 13 days, feeling great & no pain..
