Did not disclose costs. Terribly rude.
A routine biopsy and lab ended up costing me almost 2,000, because the costs were not disclosed up front. I was eventually told by the clinic that extra labs were run on the sample without my consent. In addition, I found this physician was rude and insulting. I left the appointment shaken from the lack of empathy and respect at a vulnerable time. I've been in contact with both UNC and the clinic, and no one can provide answers as to why these labs cost so much. I can't imagine what someone who was struggling financially would do in this instance.

I am so fortunate to be in Dr. Culton’s care!
It turned out that Dr. Culton discovered my mouth blisters to be from a fairly unusual auto-immune condition. And it is chronic. She set up a highly successful treatment plan which is working consistently now for years. My dentist and his hygienist have been “blown away” by the wonderful work she has done! I could not ask for a more compassionate, capable, personable, and gifted dermatologist! I always look forward to my visits with her!

Dr Culton's has a scientific curiosity that does not allow her to rest until she can sort out what the CAUSE of your issue has been. She is not a pill pushing, in a rush sort of doctor. Again, she looks for the causes NOT just the symptoms. She is an "out of the box" thinker and will listen to her patients with an open mind and heart. What an amazing doctor and human being!
