This office charged me $180.00 for a thumb support/brace for my sprained thumb. After I got the bill and was shocked I compared the brace to others for sale and saw exactly the same quality brace runs $18.00 to $28.00. I called the billing department to discuss but they told me to call the doctors office manager. I kindly pointed out the overcharge to the office manager but she said I was entitled to my opinion and basically it wasn’t her issue and she wasn’t going to do anything about it. Next step: the hospital administrator, then the board, then? Apparently this doctors office cannot be trusted to serve patients with care and integrity.

I had a compound fracture and Dr. Cipriano treated it with a metal rod. On my final visit, my foot was extremely swollen and very discolored. When I asked him what was wrong, he said "nothing". On my return to Dallas, I went to the medical school. The orthopedic surgeon I saw there looked at my leg and told me I could lose my leg. She said the metal rod had to come out. She said they never put a rod in a compound fracture as it was a breeding ground for infection.

After tearing my meniscus, I needed arthroscopic knee surgery quickly so I wouldn't miss my summer water sports. I called the office and got in immediately. Surgery was scheduled 3 days later. Dr. Cipriano and his staff are extremely professional and competent. This was the best doctors office I have ever dealt with!
