Dr. Kelling is attentive, compassionate and an extraordinary physician. His experience is displayed in his unique understanding of his patients needs and conditions. When a patient is forthcoming with him, he addresses the symptoms and the needs of the patient as rarely found. He is terrific.

Worse medical experience I have ever had. Attending for practice which I feel is overburdened. He spent 30-60 seconds each morning of my hospital stay in my room and never explained anything. My follow-up was even worse. I spent 3 hours waiting and 5 minutes with him reviewing my chart but not addressing the issues that landed me in the hospital. He needs to retire quickly.

Kelling doesn't spend enough time with me when I visit his office. I've been going to his clinic too long. He's not a friendly person. But since he will soon be retiring it doesn't matter to him. He will order tests but never explains what they are and why I need them. He comes in the room says very little then leaves just as quick. I wish I could find another doctor who I could trust.

This review pertains to Dr. Kelling, not the clinic. I was in hospital for 15 days & he was the attending. Worst experience with a dr I've ever had. Room visits were 1 minute each day. He opened bathroom door once & had visit while I'm on toilet! I had severe diarrhea. He ordered laxatives! I had a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic. He was informed, but didn't note my chart! I was almost given 2nd dose! This could have ended very badly. His notes say I have cancer. Nope. Diverticulitis!

Extremely disappointed in this physician. This is a MD that did his residency at Duke which is one of the best hospitals in the country and this physician did a terrible job explaining what was wrong with my father. He changed his medications, referred him to rehab, stated that some of his other issues was his PCP's situation and flew out of the room. Not in the room more than 2.5 mins. This pulmonologist listened to his lungs for 10 secs. He didn't even explain his PFT results...Pathetic.
