Dr was friendly and professional , gave me answers
I am on my 4th gastroenterologist. Two left their practices.IMy current one sent me to Dr Weiinstein, that found unusual reasons why I feel so poorly. if I am able I will switch to Dr. Weinstein as he seems to be the doctor that knows why I’m having difficulty eating. I will see what my current doctor thinks of the results and if he’s able to follow through on Dr. Weinstein’s recommendations.

Unprofessional ignorant staff.
Appointment was scheduled for 12 noon. I was ready for the procedure at 12:20 doctor appeared at 1:20-1:30 p.m. I was waiting undressed under the shabby blanket in the very cold room for hour.At 1:41 I was admitted to the operational room and procedure took about 20 minutes After the operation nursing staff did not notify my husband to pick me up for 45 minutes. It was very unpleased experience. Avoid Hamilton surgical center.

Bad experience with staff
Dr Weinstein is a good doctor but the phones and staff very poor service! He did endoscopy on my husband. I want my husband’s records transfer to another doctor. But they are not responding! Their phones don’t work most of the time . When sometime it works you leave messages they don’t get back . Very dissatisfied!

I'd be dead without him, he saved me
After many years of suffering miserably with gastroparesis, Dr.Weinstein got me in for GPOEM surgery, and I finally got my life back. Yes it takes longer to get an appt because he's simply at a higher skill lever than your normal GI Dr, so you should expect that, but when you need the best dr, he's it.

Truly awful person
The doctors office itself is a disaster, the staff are the rudest I’ve encountered. I had two surgeries back to back weeks and was then told to call for a follow up. The scheduler told me four months. I asked to speak to a manger because I am very lll and the surgeries did not help me and the lady hung up on me. I’ve tried to talk to the doctor about his staff and he literally shrugged. He’s supposed to be the best in his area and he’s just a bad person.

Dr. Weinstein is a nice doctor but it seems like the office is very on organized which is very scary. I had four or five important tests with him. The problem is the last test was revised and the hospital will not release all my records to me. The hospital staff at the medical library where are the records for patients are say the records Are incomplete. I put my request in to get my records over three weeks now.

I had been living most of my life undiagnosed with POTS which is a nervous system dysfunction that affects almost every bodily function including digestion. I had seen countless doctors trying to figure out what was wrong with me. On average it takes 4 years for a POTS patient to get a diagnosis because doctors aren't diminish with the condition. This doctor referred me to a specialist after looking at me as a whole person and suggesting I look into a POTS specialist. He finally got me the answers I was looking for. Thank you, Doctor!

He ordered a ton of bloodwork, I thought, had to do with my condition. I met to go over all the abnormal blood work. He had no idea what all the high and low levels meant. Then why did he order if he could not figure out abnormal results. He did say well you have a new antibody. Again he could not explain what it was. He did not refer me to a doctor who could explain the results. He made 0 effort to at least look up the antibody condition that causes severe issues. I left angry, defeated and frustrated. This practice overall is so subpar. They will not make an appointment until after they receive a 10 pg questionnaire. They do not view anything prior and really just glance iver what you have written. I have basically very little trust in this practice. Whatever genius decided that you had to send the paperwork before you could make an appountment is an idiot. I do not recommend this practuce at all.

The receptionist, with the strong accent, gave attitude over the phone, did not care about the pain or necessity of an extremely ill patient. This receptionist should be terminated immediately. Do not attempt to schedule with this horrible office. They will laugh in your face and push your needs to the side.

I explained the importance of being seen ASAP, literally no one cared. I haven’t been able to eat in over a week and a half, lost 20 lbs in 9 days, and they told me the next appointment was three months away. The ER told me I needed to be seen in one day and the receptionist gave me intense attitude. Save your time and go elsewhere. These crooks don’t care if you’re dying.
