He's very appropriate and very nice he explains things to me

Was personable and answered all my questions.

A few questions were asked. He then explained I had arthritis because he saw it on the X-ray

Not a Doctor a Surgeon who cares less about patients not requiring surgery and is incapable of diagnosing anything that is not obvious in a X-ray.

Very comfortable communicating with Dr. Feng. He explained everything to me about my issue and my options.

Knees replacement ( left knee ) I am going back to work in just twelve weeks . Everything is great , no more pain,

Disappointing. He treated me like I was a minor annoyance in a busy day. I have a bad hip, came for surgical consult. Brought my medical records, also XRAY and MRI DVDs and writeups. Dr Feng was way behind, and clearly didn't have the time to take with me. He asked me what I wanted to do. I told him "you are the surgeon" and was wondering why he wasn't showing me my XRAY or MRI and advising me what HE would do! In the end he mentioned that I had "a little arthritis." He mentioned doing some PT or getting a cortisone shot. He never did show me my XRAY OR MRI. Yesterday I went to another surgeon for another consult, and he showed me clearly on the XRAY that there was NO cartilage left, and that a complete hip replacement is needed. I can barely walk through my house right now, and sleeping is awful due the extreme pain. I don't believe Dr Feng even looked at my XRAY or my MRI, as he was so backlogged.I have had 27 surgeries and have never gone to a surgeon and been treated so poorly and with such disregard. If he was this booked up and far behind, he should just have canceled his new patient appointment. I've had 2 surgeries at Orthoarizona with Dr Leber and he was fantastic and took excellent care with me. I expected the same of Dr Feng but walked away completely disappointed and frustrated. I'd give him a zero if I could.

Beginning with meeting Dr. Feng and the anesthesiologist in preop. They made me feel very comfortable. Everything went super and my recovery and lack of pain was amazing. The whole process and healing changed my quality of life for the better.

He chose to be direct in our discussions and had a bad attitude about it like I was waiting his time.

Dr Feng has always had a smile on his face and very interested in what you have to say about your care and well being!

I don't normally write a review. I am going to write about my experience with Dr. Earl Feng. I visited Dr. Feng twice. Both times he didn't leave me a good impression. First time I visited him was for a knee replacement consultation. He spent 5 minutes to explain the procedure then left. He spent a long time outside the patient room chatting and laughing with the nurses while I was sitting in the room. Second time I visited him was for knee cortisol injections. He injected the fluid into my knees very quickly and caused me a lot of pain. He stabbed through my blood vessel during the injection and a lot blood poured out of my knee. He left without saying anything. I have diabetes. It took me long time to stop the blood. I have visited many doctors for cortisol injections over the years and only this doctor caused pain and blood loss. Now I have more pain than before I have received the shot. I chose him based on his good reviews. Dr. Feng doesn't seem have empathy or patience to his patients. His technical skills are horrible. I don't recommend this doctor to anyone.

He was on time and to the point, nothing major so will give it a few months.

This dr. Showed no real concern about my problem. Pretty much just said saw your X-rays n u have this problem n it’s normal for people your age u can use patch’s or take over the counter pain meds and I can give u exercise. I m so much pain that I can’t sleep nights let alone do exercise and he really didn’t care about my pain. And didn’t say I needed a follow up. I would not recommend this dr to anybody he just doesn’t care

Very personable man. Made me feel very comfortable and like I was in good hands
