He wasted my time and lied to me.
My 18 year old daughter (who has autism & intellectual disability) has had various elevated CBC markers for years. Hematology and GI both checked her over and thought they’d done all they could. Debatable. But at least they engaged.Dr. Fels saw her over 2 appointments. At the first, he said hematology and GI should finish their investigations, as a CT was planned. The CT showed mildly activated and enlarged peritoneal lymph nodes, but hematology and GI didn’t find that conclusive for anything. So I made another appointment with Dr. Fels regarding my daughter’s inflammation. Labs were repeated, with the addition of C3 & C4 complements. Dr. Fels told me the results were “normal.” Maybe he meant normal for her. But they were not even normal for her. And the C3 and C4 complements being elevated was new information. She now has lymphocytosis in addition to her thrombocytosis. He just didn't want her as a patient from the get-go and he should have just been honest about that.

Highly recommend Dr. Fels
I was very impressed with the length of time he took to read through my history and it is an extensive one! That made our conversation flow so much better as he knew what I was talking about when I explained things. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I most of all appreciated the time he spent and the fact that he wasn't rushed to get to the next patient.

Felt not listened to, ignored, spoken over and not helped. The way he spoke over me with no regard for what I was saying or expressing about my pain was incredibly unprofessional. I would rather live with chronic pain then ever see such an unpleasant person again. I shouldn’t feel the need to fight to be heard and understood.

First, I had to randomly choose of the docs in the practice which is a bit unfair, but I've never had a visit here though my PCP has sent a referral and records THREE TIMES. When I call the office, they NEVER answer and rarely call back. They obviously don't need new patients but don't even bother to let you know that. I would rather drive to Brunswick then keep waiting for anyone at this office to actually response. Incredibly RUDE.

My experience with Dr. Fels has been a Godsend. I’ve spend years suffering and transferring from physician to physician until I was referred by a family member. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a compassionate professional who knows exactly how to treat, listen, and care.
