Dr. Matthew Stanishewski, DO

What a nice and caring physician! He always treats me with respect and gives me a clear plan of action. I appreciate that he lets me know when treatments may or may not work but why we try them anyway. I feel like he cares and is doing everything he can to help me find long term solutions for my condition. I've never had to wait and he's always patient with me, answering all of my questions. He never makes me feel rushed

Dr. Stanishewski LISTENED to my symptoms, which are rather vague, and he looked at my blood work, which was inconclusive. He figured out a plan and explained the plan to me. He also explained what he would do if his initial plan did not work. Fortunately it did, but even if it did not, he had a plan for what he would do next if it did not. A doctor who can listen, use his judgement to make a plan, and change the plan if needed is a rare bird indeed!

If I could give zero stars, that would be more fitting for my experience. I'm disabled with Sjrogren's Syndrome and he man handled me like I had no joint/muscle pain. He originally refused me as a patient b/c I also suffer from Fibromyalgia and he does not treat that condition. He was rude to me and there was no follow up, even though PT he suggested didn't help me. He advised me to wear wrist support to bed and, according to the PT, they serve no purpose for my condition, the exact opposite.

Dr Stan is a young doctor and highly educated in the latest technology and very personable. He will take a personal interest in each one of his patients and choose the best course of action. I highly recommend this doctor.

He has gone the extra mile for me every time. I would recommend him with NO reservations. He's getting me through a very bad knee problem right now.

Dr Stanishewski is a caring doctor who is attentive to all my issues. The staff is wonderful, too

We traveled 40 minutes from Pittsfield with my 85 year old mother to see Dr. Stanishewski. The trip was sure worth it, this is why. Her exam was on time, he took his time to listen and explained in detail issues affecting my mother. My mother is 85 and somewhat hard of hearing, still he directed all his question and answers to her, looking her straight in the eyes. I found this to be refreshing and respectful. X-ray and bloodwork were done onsite that day. Smart, respectful, good doctor

Friendly, listens, addresses needs, takes time to explain things, great bedside manner.

I think he tries, but doesn't clearly define his thoughts to me. I often leave his office confused and feeling like he doesn't have my back. Not my experience with my former doc, who made me feel like we were a team
