Dr. Edward Lambert III, DO

Dr. Lambert has been a wonderful compassionate doctor. He did not suggest knee surgery as another doctor had done. Dr. Lambert understood my fear and gave me an injection which has been great. I have been pain free for over a year.

No help what so ever I just dont understand how he has 5 stars maybe because they needed surgery and I didn't. He was Very rude and ignorant did not Give me clear answers about anything he wouldn't even give me a note so I could get a bigger truck being that I work as a courier and he rushed me out of the room . I have osteoarthritis in both knees he claims it's a mild case but as far as pain it's extremely painful. I will never go back I know this one bad review doesn't over look all the good ones I dnt care how much experience you have I give him 0 stars

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lambert. I saw Dr. Lambert for my hip replacement. My recovery time was very quick. I had it done as an out patient at Bon Secours surgery ctr. Everyone there made me feel very comfortable. One of Dr Lambert nurses, Catrina was excellent! She went above and beyond.

Dr. Lambert performed my hip replacement and did a superlative job He patiently explained what to expect at the initial consult and answered all questions thoroughly. At the surgery site he was calm, confident, and reassuring both before and after the procedure. And at the final post op, he answered all of my questions (I had a dozen of them), some even before I asked them. I could not ask more of a physician or surgeon.

I was experiencing what I thought was pain emanating from my hip, and my PCP had referred me out to Dr. Lambert. He took X-rays and quickly determined the pain was coming from my back, not my hip. He completed a physical exam, reviewed the meds I was on, and recommended a colleague who could assist me further. Every person I encountered was kind and professional. Dr. Lambert made sure I had time to ask questions, and he explained things in a way I could understand. This is a doctor I would definitely consider if I ever have hip problems in the future.

Dr Lambert and his staff take their time out to make you feel comfortable and simply explain everything that's going on so that you get a fully understanding I love them glad I chose them

Can not say enough positive things about Dr. Lambert and the entire staff. (hip replacement 2021). I never feel rushed with appointment, questions always answered. HIGHLY recommend!!

My visit concerned a possible tendon transfer in hip area for easier mobility. Dr Lambert reviewed the pros and cons of the procedure with clarity. It was decided that the risk was too high. Surgery was nixed.

Dr Ted Lambert is a Wonderful, Kind, Caring and patient Doctor, an so is his team. Dr Lambert did a total knee replacement on my left knee with a procedure called SUBVASTUS no cutting of the Tendence or Ligaments. This method is a faster way of healing. Dr Lambert is also experienced in Hip replacement surgery no cutting of the Tendence or ligaments. I healed so quickly. Walking around the same day with BOTH SURGERIES KNEE and HIP REPLACEMENT. I'M SO THANK TO A DEAR FRIEND WHO REFERRED ME TO DR LAMBERT. God's blessing upon him and his team ??????????????????????????????????????????????????

I had such a bad hip, I was crawling up the stairs. After my hip replacement with Dr Lambert, I have been given an entirely new lease on life! He was VERY skilled and used the BEST and latest materials and techniques! I was 47 at the time of surgery and expect to have my new hip a LONG time. Thank You, Dr Lambert!

Went to seek help with hip pain. I was seen right away with a very short wait. Was x-rayed right away. My hip joints were OK; was diagnosed with bursitis in both hips. Dr. Lambert explained all to me clearly and efficiently, and prescribed some mild med for pain and exercises I can do to alleviate the condition more rapidly. Got some good tips and great care by all staff at OrthoVirginia. This was THE PLACE to go, and Doc Lambert is THE GUY to see about hips (and knees).

My experience was excellent with Dr Lambert! I highly recommend seeing Dr Lambert for knee or hip replacement. He has a great bedside manner and really listens to what you’re saying. I never felt rushed during appointments. Dr. Lambert even called me the night before my surgeries to check on me and tell me he was getting a good night sleep to be his best for me.

Took time with me. Understood my concerns. Took a logical approach. MyChart pre-checkin is poor. But do it anyway to make life easier

Usual excellent service by Dr. Lambert and the entire staff, especially in the c-ray area. First time in new facility. So much better than their over crowded facility. Certain the staff and doctors love it. Will always go back and refer others. Dr. Lambert did a hip replacement on my wife and he was the usual excellent doctor!!!

Dr. Lambert listens to your concerns and explains what would be the best course of action.

Had trouble with my knee and Dr.Lambert found the problem right away and fixed the problem in a timely manner. I feel safe and have no worries when I'm in his care. His staff does a great job and I will recommend my family and friends there. Always satisfied.

I have had prior knee surgery, right knee meniscus) but it did not stop the pain. I had many post op interventions and finally found relief. It lasted 9 years and recently, after a summer of hiking in the Blue Ridge Mtns of NC, I found myself in need of a knee specialist again I found OrthoVirginia and Dr. Lambert. They were able to see me 3 days after I contacted them. In office I had my health history taken and a full set of x-rays. Dr. Lambert conducted a thorough exam. Gait watch, range of motion and pain. He listened to my concerns and made my thoughts an integral part of the treatment plan. As I am older and overweight, it was no surprise that much of my pain was from osteoarthritis. We discussed a course of action. While knee replacement may be my future, weight loss and a second visit for my preferred course of treatment is the current plan. I am so glad I had the good fortune to meet Dr. Lambert and the team at OrthoVirginia.

I saw Dr Lambert for discomfort 2 years post TKR. We had relocated to area so I needed a new ortho MD. He reassured me that my replaced knee is fine. He explained the origin of the pain. I was given exercise advice for knee and general wellness. I appreciated his concern about my well being and future fitness.

Great
