So Dr. Shen is a great guy and he is a great doctor but this one star is for the multiple times I had an appointment, sat in their office for hours, and had to leave because the doctor was not there or was just super backed up. Today was number 3 and the last straw. This is unacceptable as a patient as I am a busy professional and my time is very valuable. Not only do I have to leave because I have to get to my next engagement, but I have to reschedule another appointment and now I have wasted two days trying to see the doctor. This has happened three times in the 4 years I have been seeing him. Besides that part, When I do show up for my appointments and wait, I usually get called 1-1:30 past my scheduled time and one time I waited 3 hours to see him. His staff is very friendly but do not give you any expectations of when you will actually see the doctor. I will be finding another cardiologist.

Dr. Shen provided me with initial electrophysiology consultation and performed an ablation to correct the diagnosis of Wolff-Parkson-White syndrome I received in early 2018. The procedure went well at Queens Medical. I continue to feel healthier and stronger and look forward to the quality of life continuing to improve since I am no longer on medication since the procedure. I have to thank Dr. Shen for his level of professional care, specialization and skill of performing ablation!

An expert in his field, Dr. Shen was very helpful with diagnosing and fixing my husband's situation. He performed an ablation at Queens Hospital. My husband is grateful he went to Dr. Shen. He feels great~ even paddled this morning! We highly recommend Dr. Shen. Ete & Bette Savini North Shore
