He's great!
I've been going to Dr. Ventresca for a few years now and have been very happy with him. I'm being treated for COPD. He's friendly and listens to my concerns. Always takes the time to answer my questions and never makes me feel like he's rushing to get me out of there. I've seen the PA a couple times and she's always been friendly, professional and courteous with me. The office staff is courteous and professional. Not sure what the problem is with some of these other reviews, but I'd highly recommend him.

Apathetic, rude, uncaring
I was in the hospital for a week (March) with a severe lung infection. Released without much detail but a supply of oxygen, steroids, a bi-pap and advice I see a pulmonologist for further analysis and guidance. The most recommended had no availability for months out, Dr. Ventresca's office gave me an appointment in mid-May, about a month. I had a brief visit with PA Joanne- the rudest, most dismissive and snarly woman I have ever encountered in a healthcare setting. I left with an appointment for a breathing test on July 21. (2+ months) I am anxious to understand where I am with my illness and what I should expect/prepare for my future. But I'm told by other professionals that due to a shortage of specialists this is not an uncommonly long wait. TODAY I received a form letter from the office, with my name spelled incorrectly (minor - but given everything still insulting) advising me that unfortunately I will have to reschedule as that appointment is no longer available.

Didn’t see the doctor but rather his PA Joanne Williams. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor or provider in my entire life. Not by a long shot. It was surreal. I came in to receive guidance and care for difficulty-sleep disorder. Joanne Williams was combative from the onset walking in and telling me to sit in another chair. Not politely ask but told me to sit here. She was more concerned with where I was sitting in the patient room and how I was wearing my mask then providing me care. As the appointment continued she was not explaining herself, was dismissive when asked questions by the patient, at times she was flat out insulting when responding to questions such as “Yeah I was going to get to that” or “I answered that already”. She kept talking over the patient, did not listen to my responses, and treated me with disdain. We werent even halfway through the appointment when I just walked out. Something I have never even thought of doing before when seeking care.

Showed up over an hour late to hospital. I am a doctor myself and as a concerned patient, I tried several times to have a professional conversation with him during the appointment about my pulmonary concerns. He did nothing but interrupt me constantly. As a specialist, let alone provider you should be empathetic and treat your patients like people and not just a number. He also studied medicine overseas in Italy. Look elsewhere.
