Unprofessional
Told me that my pain and one-sided weakness was likely depression. When I told him I disagreed he said 'Covid has been hard on everyone, it must be especially hard to be a single woman your age. Get a new shrink.'

I was prescribed a medication by him for my serious condition. I slowed grew allergic to the medication. First my skin started to break out in small bumps then large swollen spots that were the size of golf balls developed. In addition to this I became deeply depressed. Both of symptoms were signs I was allergic to the medication. Instead of stopping it he sent me to a dermatologist who said take Benedyl. Even with that my skin itched and burned at the same time. It all lead to me being in the hospital. After 3 days the medication left my depression lifted, and my skin cleared. He has a lot of knowledge that is invaluable. I would recommend him to use that knowledge in a lab, and move out of patients care.

In March, I scheduled an appointment with him for late August. In July, when I was abroad, I received a voicemail from his staff saying "there was some change in his schedule and they want to offer me an earlier appointment." Calling to them from abroad was expensive, so I created an account on PennMedicine and sent his staff a message telling them that I'm away and don't need an earlier appointment. I also asked them to not call me but reach me via PennMedicne. Haven't received any messages or calls from Dr. Wallack's staff after that. On August 23, when I arrived at the hospital, I learned that he left for a vacation and the earliest appointment they could offer me was late October. I can't believe I'm waiting for my appointment since March. This doctor obviously has no respect for his patients and their time. He can't plan his vacation beforehand, and, perhaps, thinks that his patients should adapt their lives to the last minute changes in his plans. His staff is unprofessional.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Wallack for the past year. He has provided excellent care and treatment for my condition. He is thorough - asks a lot of questions and performs detailed examination to identify what’s wrong. He is professional and has a caring attitude. He listens and provides a clear explanation of his findings. His office staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating to schedule appointments and follow ups. Highly recommend.

V. good office staff. Dr seems highly intelligent, genial manner, will call you back, can use mypennmed, poor listener, possibly sexist, Note: I am biased and jealous of reviewer who got diagnosis, treatment, and hopefully relief after 7 months. After apprx 2 yrs, $100K in imaging I've started to look elsewhere for care, a diagnosis, treatment, and an end to my suffering

After 7 months of seeing many doctors, but not getting a diagnosis, I made an appointment with Dr. Wallack. He was able to correctly diagnosed my condition in less than a month. He has a great bedside manner, always returns calls, puts me at ease and is just and all around nice man. I have 100% confidence in my treatment plan & his recommendations. The office staff is extremely kind, helpful and empathetic as well. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
