Professional, honest, caring, trithfull
My daughter attended Silver Hills. After numerous months Of care she left treatment. Dr. Shander gave me honest opinionated counsel on what to expect from my daughters treatment, I valued her expertise and now have set my long term Limits. She basically treated me as the mother and for this I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

She spent a great deal of time interrupting our sessions to answer her telephone in the middle of conversation. I believe this is appalling conduct from a any doctor, but from a "highly trained" psychiatrist it is even more insulting, unprofessional and rude.

She worked with me for several years and then proceeded to dump me when I needed her most. She does not care about her patients.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Shander?
Dr Shander is one of the most dedicated, caring doctors but also very knowledgeable not only about psychopharmocology but is also an astute therapist. She was able to diagnose my daughter’s problem as having a neurological basis which resulted in being able to institute treatment to address this in addition to the psychopharmacolog.
