Dr. Evans performed an anterior minimally invasive hip replacement surgery on my left hip and I could not be more satisfied with the entire process before, during and after the surgery. Had my right hip replaced on Jan 10, 2025, and honestly, I had no pain at all! The incision did not hurt at all, about the only thing was where the new 'femur' part went into the bone was a dull ache after walking a lot, but that went away after a few weeks. I felt so good that I felt that could have went back to work the next day( but no way I would have of course). The office staff are wonderful and answered any questions I hadHighly recommend Dr. Evans!

Visited Dr. Evans today for a checkup after a total hip replacement. Was well received by his staff, no waiting whatsoever. Dr. Evans was not hurried, and he took the time to answer my questions. I would gladly recommend. Excellent bedside manner, sincere. His surgery changed my life, should have done it years ago.

Really good experience from the pre-op to the post-op surgery for a hip replacement. Dr. Evans explained everything very well and was very thorough and attentive to my situation.

Dr. Evans was so kind, knowledgeable, and understanding of my pain. He gave me a knee replacement that went amazingly well. I walked 200 ft the first time my feet hit the ground. Now I'm out 2.5 months...no walker, no cane, and the best part is no limp. My body is back in alignment and the skies the limit!! Thank you Dr Evans!!! I would highly recommend him to everyone who has joint issues...HE'S THE BEST!!!!!

Prior to my surgery I had heard several negative comments concerning his bedside manner. My experience with Dr Evans was complete opposite. He was extremely nice, considerate ..My surgery was above and beyond what I expected. I experienced very little pain and was walking without a walker or cane 10 days after my surgery. He is definitely a highly skilled surgeon. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

After 7 years of doctoring with a painful knee, and barely going, I was told my hip was bad and I needed a surgeon. Found ?????Dr. Evans. ?????With all my travels, he was able to schedule my surgery very quickly.He said my knee would also be less painful. It was!! My hip is like new. One month after surgery, I am virtually pain free, I can move around, and just my quality of life is extremely better. My incision is really small and it was closed with just 2 stitches!!!As this was my first time for surgery, I was terrified. Dr Evans, his staff, the nurses and staff at AVH were so reassuring and took great care me. A heartfelt ??thank you ?? to all of them.I am so happy to have Dr. EVANS as my surgeon. He is very easy to talk to, very caring and shows a lot of concern for his patients. He is definitely a highly skilled physican. I was very impressed with his patient approach and explanation of my condition and coarse of treatment. Excellent surgeon would highly recommend him.

I was anxious about having knee replacement surgery. Dr. Evans explained the procedure and what to expect. It went better than I ever could have imagined. I was back at it within two weeks. I was still healing but getting better every day. Dawn, in the office, was there to answer my many questions too. I’m so glad I had it done with Dr. Evans.

I had my right knee totally replaced by Dr. Evans. And everybody had given me horror stories about how much pain there would be and how long it would take to get back and going. That was not true. Dr. Evans and his staff did an outstanding job. I was walking immediately after waking up and from surgery Within two weeks I was walking again without any discomfort And I’m at 90 days now and all I know is my knee feels great thank you Dr. Evans and staff

The surgery on my hip replacement on May 10 2024 was great. I was walking with only a cane on the 3rd day. I don't know what Dr. Evans did but I had no pain at all. I was able to walk very soon after surgery & was home the same day by 1:30pm. I had my 1st hip done 7 years ago but not with the same results. Thanks Dr. Evans, you got me pain free.

Dr. Evans and his staff were great when I had both knees replaced. Everyone was so kind and explained what was going to happen when I had the surgery. They helped me understand that there was nothing to worry about. His surgical team came in when I was at the St. Margarets Hosp. and helped me through all of the steps before surgery. I have recommended him to a few friends and to anyone who needs this surgery. Thank you Dr. Evans for helping me to be able to walk and go upstairs again. You and your staff and surgical team are awesome!!

Dr. Evans & staff (including the team @ St. Margaret's Hospital) are patient-focused. They communicate with the patient & answer questions when asked. They engender trust.

I had my second knee replacement a month ago and the results have been wonderful. The new nerve block used by Dr. Evans has made a huge difference in pain and recovery time. Dr. Evans replaced my other knee 6 years ago and the results were excellent, but it took a lot longer to recover from that operation. My favorite thing about Dr. Evans is that he does not push you into an operation and allows you to decide when it's time for the replacement and you will know when it's time.

Dr Evans did a full hip replacement on me 4-17-24 an when I got out of surgery and was in recovery an they ask me if I wanted to walk with a walker I got up an walked 150 steps I was so impressed with the surgery There was little pain if not any Dr Evans was a very pleasant an professional thru everything I did not need the walker 3 days after surgery I am so pleased with this surgery from our first visit to the follow up with Dr EvansI will strongly recommend Dr Evans for anyone needing a hip replacement in the future Everyone who sees me can not believe how well I’m walking in such a short timeDr Evans is the man

Dr. Evans was very honest and down to earth when discussing my knee surgeries. He explained the procedure before the surgery and what to expect after. He left the decision up to me on how soon or when I should get the surgery done. He answered all my questions and concerns. I have, and will continue to recommend Dr. Evans, I believe he is an excellent Surgeon.

Prior to selecting Dr Evans I asked around about him and his practice. Everyone I asked gave him raving reviews. He also has a very caring staff.
