Dr. Rytel has a great bedside manner. Calm, pleasant, efficient. This is my 3rd knee injection with him and he keeps me grounded. ( The shots are somewhat uncomfortable but highly effective). I highly recommend him. BTW I was an end of day appointment and they were rather behind but I never felt rushed .

Dr. Rytel has a good bedside manner. He suggested rotator cuff surgery. In addition, he explained the surgery in great detail and what to expect. My recovery was and continues to be a success. I am at 2 years post-surgery now and had full shoulder function in no time with a quick recovery. Thank you

He is the best!
After putting off shoulder replacement for years, I finally had a complete reverse shoulder replacement performed by Dr. Rytel. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I found him to be informative, caring I truly believe he is one of the best shoulder surgeons in the Pittsburgh area. He is the only one I would go to in the future.

I went to see Dr. Rytel for a second opinion on my knee. I found him to be compassionate and informative. My first experience with a cortisone injection 28 years ago was so bad that I couldn't bring myself to have a second. Dr. Rytel's approach gave me the confidence to have it done, and I am so glad I made the decision to go to him. I would happily recommend him to anyone seeking an orthopaedic specialist!

I have been going to GPOA for over 22 years starting with Dr Graham Johnstone for a hip replacement originating from AVN. Since then, I have used them for other hip replacements , knee replacements & now Dr Rytel for a shoulder problem and elbow problem all due to arthritis. Dr Rytel is a good listener, answers all questions, & aims to solve the specific problem that you have.

I found Dr. Rytel in 2013, after I had a bad experience elsewhere. A friend, fellow snow sports enthusiast, and doctor of physical therapy had recommended Dr. Rytel to me. I’m so grateful to have found him! He fixed my knee and continues to keep my shoulder functioning for all the paddling and swimming adventures I am not ready to give up. As a healthcare professional myself, I find him and his staff to be exceptional. I trust him to be compassionate, straightforward, and consistent. I recommend him to anyone needing repairs. He’s definitely one of the best in our region.

Dr. Rytel and his staff are fantastic! Dr. Rytel himself could not be nicer. He explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable and like I was in great hands. They squeezed me in as a new patient same day appointment and he was on time and I was in and out within a half hour. I can't say enough nice things about my experience.
