Dr. Grover is amazing! He was so kind, thoughtful, and caring with my adult autistic son, that I decided to have him as my Doctor too. He is a great Doctor and very rare.

Terrible Bedside Manner
I scheduled an appointment for my yearly Medicare visit. This was my first visit to Dr. Grover. When he came into the room, he said hello and he proceeded to tell me how much he hated Medicare yearly visits and how worthless they are. He did half the exam most doctors do. After the exam was over he then pretended to care and asked me the question, so do you have grandkids? Of course, I said yes and then he proceeded to tell me that he really doesn’t care and that he doesn’t like children. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t like older adults either. There is nothing repulsive about me, so I don’t know why he acted like he could barely touch me, doctors have to do this. He is definitely in the wrong profession. When I asked for a different doctor for another visit I was told I would have to present it to the office manager. I am now changing facilities.

My wife went into this appointment with very specific reasons, blood work and EKG, that's it. She came out of that appointment without either being done and a truly awful experience. Instead of addressing her symptoms and providing the care that was requested, he went on to think it was all because of her gaining weight over the last few months. He shut down anything and everything she said about her symptoms. The funny thing about this is she wasn't much different in weight the last time they met and he said these symptoms were because of her body being smaller and working harder...super confusing and contradictory because he now classifies her as "obese". He gave very dangerous advice about his idea of "nutrition". He told her she should fast for 23 hours a day, leaving 1 hour a day to eat and only eat what she could fit in her fist. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. That type of advice could be very damaging to someone's health/mental health. He laughed at her when she was giving him her family medical history that could be correlating to her symptoms. She felt completely demoralized and humiliated. Very inappropriate with how he spoke to her and treated her. Regardless of what my wife was going to her appointment to accomplish, he was way out of line and inappropriate. I'm making sure this experience is shared to help other patients avoid the terrible experience my wife went through. He even admitted that he has to have this conversation with multiple women a day. No one should be spoken to this way, no matter what.

I was really worried when my previous doctor retired. I have a complicated medical history and wasn't sure my new doctor would take the time to review my records. Dr. Grover listens to my concerns and takes my previous medical history seriously. He keeps me up to date on new medical findings that pertain to my health and wellbeing. I was hospitalized twice last year under the care of multiple specialists and Dr. Grover's office contacted my insurance carrier to request a Case Manager to follow my recovery.

My husband andI really like Dr. Grover. He is very commutable and explains everything. He is straight forward and listens well . Offering the best knowledge and advise he is a great Doctor andI always refer my friends. I would recommend him to anyone I know who is looking for a Doctor. We don’t know what the RMC does from day to day, but we don’t want to lose him. Hard to find a good Doctor like him??

He is wonderful. I am never rushed and her explains everything to me. I have tried four other doctors at Riverside Medical Clinic and he is the only one I have recommended to my friends. I believe he is an asset to the clinic and the medical profession.
