Surgeon's personality
Capable, but repellant personality. Insolent to me. Patient's time is worth nothing--I would be kept waiting in the examination room for 30 minutes and one hour in the OR. Staff are courteous and efficient.

great surgery experience
He is very professional, friendly, explains everything and also very reassuring. You are not rushed at appointment. On top of that he is a great surgeon, had minimal discomfort after procedure and did not even need to take any narcotics. All in all very good experience, better than expected. Thank you.

Amazing doctor and genuinely nice person
I have been treated by Dr. Laro, for several conditions, both surgical and non-surgical, and found him to be persistent in determining causation of a problem, caring and with a comfortable and comforting manner. I would recommend him to anyone and I trust him implicitly. In addition, his staff has been friendly and caring as well, and helpful in any areas they can.

1. The staff in the office did not submit insurance information in a timely way. The hospital called us to say that the insurance hadn’t gone through and Dr Laros staff rushed it through but never called us back. We had to call to check on it. This less than a week before surgery date 1. Dr Lato did not talk to my wife after the surgery nor did he call. She was in the waiting room the entire time 1. Prescription was called to the wrong pharmacy causing xtra running around and delay in receiving the medication Not to happy with these items

Waited 35 minutes after I was taken back , they shut off the lights and when Dr. Laro came in he didn't know why I was there. He was unprepared and seemed uninterested. He couldn't see why I wanted the benign tumor removed. He is not a doctor I will trust to be "there" and ready to see a patient.

I tried to get mentally prepared for a rather gross unpleasant procedure. The office kept calling me, to make an appointment. Finally, I had my head in the right place, and called to make an appointment. Then I was told "Oh, Dr. Laro refuses to see you now, because you didn't make an appointment sooner." What?? Well, ok, because I could care less what Dr. I have never seen before does this procedure. Didn't want my money, so, my Dr. found another great place that did. I found this to be rather unprofessional, arrogant behavior, and I guess I was lucky not to go there. I sure do not recommend attempting to see Dr. Laro. Apparently, doesn't have any compassion for his patients.

Dr. Laro performed a flawless lung surgery that was remarkably easy to recover from. He was truly comfortable to communicate with and very reliable in answering any questions I might have had, either prior to or after surgery. Wonderful man too.

I was referred to Dr. Laro for a breast irregularity. At my Initial visit a surgical solution was indicated. Dr. Laro's knowledge, confidence , and personable bedside manner made my decision to move forward easy. Two weeks later I can honestly say it was an excellent decision. I was scheduled for my surgery within 9 days and am healing beautifully. The option to have the procedure done at The Willamette Surgery Center was a real bonus. I appreciate Dr. Laro's skill and care. XLNT support staff
