Dr Chamberlain orders labs two weeks prior to my appointments and she has the results when I come in. She has studied the results before I get there. Today, she began by saying "I am not concerned at all about your results." That's the way to put me at ease immediately. She is efficient in her questions and also genuinely cares and wants to talk about activities that I am doing. Like yoga. She puts me at peace. I really appreciate her. One of a kind.

I had a very good appt with Dr. Chamberlin; she was very professional, competent, understanding and explained my medical issue, offering treatment options and explaining where we go from here. No wait time; medical office staff was great. She listened to me, and understood my input, answered my questions with no hesitation; examined me in an acceptable manner. I am pleased I was referred to her.

DR. Chamberlain made a difficult visit as easy and pleasant as possible. She fully explained her diagnosis and possible treatments and took the time to answer all questions. She was as knowledgeable, caring and unhurried as one would hope a doctor would be. When I had a question later on not covered in the visit she responded by e-mail very quickly with an answer and promised to follow up with more research. I feel confident that Dr. Chamberlain will provide the best care possible for me which is not something I have been able to say about every doctor I've seen in my lifetime.

Wonderful. She is calm with a warm caring attitude. Takes an extensive history, answers all questions with complete knowledge. While my situation has been observe and watch for a few years I feel very safe with Dr.Chamberlain. I would recommend her to any Oncology patient. The clinic setting is bright, light, modern system. The staff that I have interacted with are as impressive as Dr. Chamberlain. They appear to be happy at work and do their jobs in a caring and efficient way. I was lost and Marie on the front desk had to guide me in. When I left the other young woman, unfortunately I didn’t get her name, she mapped out the route for me for future. I am so impressed with everyone I’ve met, have spoken to by phone. I am in very good hands. It’s nice to see people who obviously enjoy what they do. It’s not always the case, and it certainly helps me as a patient feel better.

Dr. Chamberlain was able to diagnose my condition and prescribe proper treatment. She is very kind and caring.

Referral appointment made promptly. I was seen on-time. Dr. Chamberlain was methodical and thorough. She took the time to understand my medical history, to explain Test results, my condition, next steps, and possible treatments, as well as responding to my questions.

My 85 year-old dad was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and referred to an oncologist at Dignity Health. After nearly two weeks of NO RETURN CALL from Dignity, I "self-referred" my dad to UCLA and received a call-back within a couple of hours and an appointment within a couple of days! Dr. Chamberlain spent nearly 2 hours speaking with my dad, my sister & me, explaining the diagnosis and options and courses of treatment, and answering ALL of our questions. Each subsequent visit and encounter has been informative, gentle and dignified. I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone, ever. But if you have to deal with it, I would recommend Dr. Chamberlain without hesitation or reservation. She is an angel and a rock-star!

As an out of the area parent of the patient, a college student, I made the initial contact to confirm Dr Chamberlain’s office would be able to take the referral from the gastroenterologist and book an appointment. The front desk assistant was so kind and helpful and worked our son in around his class schedule. They even followed up a few days before the appointment to request the necessary paperwork from the referring doctor. (So glad they followed up in advance and not the day of!) the support staff is friendly, professional and so very helpful! Our son was seen by Dr Chamberlain while away at college and probably a bit nervous as to what was to come from the assessment.. His feedback appears that she put him right at ease. When I asked if he liked Dr Chamberlain he said “very much, she’s really nice.” He shared her assessment and recommendations with me and we are both grateful to have Dr Chamberlain and her guidance to helps resolve his health issue.

I've been unfortunate to endure a particularly aggressive cancer that has managed to spread inside my body. Due to ongoing complications and need for greater access to high quality facilities for more aggressive treatments, I have now had three oncologists looking over my case. Dr. Chamberlain is by far my favorite. During our initial consult, she spent the better half of the session going over my health history in great detail, asking numerous investigative questions to turn over every stone and ensure I'm getting the proper care I need. For consults and follow-up appointments, she has been extraordinarily efficient and organized in her approach to shedding light on my deluge of concurrent health problems and executing a plan of action that inspires confidence, especially during perilous times. I wish all of my other health care practitioners gave me the level of confidence that I have in Dr. Chamberlain. I wish I had started my treatment with her long ago. But I'm glad I'm here now.
