This was several years ago. Brought in an article about PCOS. Explained that I was not saying I had it, but that I was experiencing a lot of the symptoms mentioned in the article. As soon as she saw what the article was about, she said, "you don't have that" and tossed the magazine to the side. I DID have that (diagnosed by another doctor) and now have two beautiful boys. In addition, experienced severe cramping w/period, was basically told to suck it up when asked for something for relief.
