Great Surgeon. I am grateful he is recommended by my internist.

Dr. O is excellent + the most ethical MD that has treated me. He saved my life twice. A highly-rated surgeon was to perform a "20-30 min. minor surgery" - a "piece of cake" for me. After 1.5 hrs. of major surgery (at VHC), both lungs collapsed. I was discharged w/pneumonia. The surgeon fired me 3 weeks post-op. 3 months hence, I was at Inova Alex ER. When ER contacted him, he advised not be admit me & to discharge me from ER. ER contacted Dr. O. Due to my prior experience, my husband wanted an ambulance to transport me to JH Hosp. for surgery. Dr. O replied, "She will not arrive alive." He removed 11" of my colon. 3+ yrs. later, my PCP ordered a CT scan w/contrast. I needed immediate surgery. My husband contacted Dr. O. He was at a function, but left immediately. During the 3 hr. major surgery, he removed 1.5-2' of my colon. The initial "20-30 min." surgery necessitated an add'l 1 minor & 4 major surgeries (one was 8.5 hrs), 4 obstructions of the sm. intestine, PT, + epidurals.

Dr. Omeish's staff was so accommodating in scheduling me for a same day appointment when I called. The office -- spotless! Upon meeting Dr. Omeish, I was thoroughly impressed. He was kind, personable and thorough. He did not rush through the appointment. They worked me in for surgery the next Monday. The entire surgical process was seamless. I cannot say enough about his bedside manners and his gentle, calming approach. I could not have been more pleased with him as a surgeon. Thank you SO much!
