After my original PCP retired without any notice, I was left to seek a new PCP. This was an unexpected situation to encounter for myself and my family after being with the same PCP over 10 years. I set out on the adventure of looking for a new provider, concerned with worry to say the least. There is so much to take into consideration when choosing a doctor, especially after being with the same one for so long. How was I going to find a new doctor, who I was comfortable with in regards to not knowing my health history, or my ongoing care? I started looking online as well as asking around. Asking around got me nowhere, so online I continued looking. I came across Dr. O who was accepting new patients, I called the office to set up an appointment as a new patient. The receptionist was above courteous and so pleasant in answering all my questions. My appointment was scheduled in a promptly matter, as my prescriptions were needing to be refilled within a week and no refills left. The urgency was highly acknowledged which was the first positive sign that stood out to me. I arrived for my appointment, in a very clean, warm welcoming atmosphere. I was called back within minutes of sitting down in the waiting room. The nurse (ever so pleasant) asked me the normal protocol questions, took my vitals, and advised me the doctor would be in soon. Again within minutes Dr. O entered, introduced himself, and the appointment began. I explained my situation and why I was seeking a new PCP, he listened tentatively and showed genuine concern. May I add I did let him know right up front that I was nervous and leery about switching providers, especially with no warning that I would need to find a new provider, he understood my concern genuinely. Dr. O truly reviewed my health history, went over all my medications with me, and also addressed other health concerns that arose while I was without a provider. Other appointments were made that needed to be made promptly (within days!!) Dr. O is a provider who has positive and professional bed side manner, genuine care and concern for his patients, and truly stays on top of everything for the well being of his patients! I have referred others to Dr. O, including my daughter and her family, and those I have referred are also highly satisfied. Dr. O, Nurse Tina and staff I can say go above and beyond. You won’t be disappointed or dissatisfied.
