Excellent Physician
Dr. Starr has been my PCP for many years. She is an outstanding physician who takes the time to discuss and explain issues. Very reassuring and what I like is the fact that she does not over prescribe tests and investigations.

She does not really know what's going on. Constantly says "let me look it up" and I constantly have to suggest plans based on what I know from my family member who is a physician. Only reason I have not switched is I've been relatively healthy. Now that I am getting older, I will definitely need someone who actually knows what they're doing.

Rushed and beauracratic. Staff and Dr focused on getting me signed up for a physical when I had urgent health needs- health needs which of course Dr "didn't have time for" at the physical. No email, could only communicate through phone messages and appointments which were nearly impossible to make. Sometimes on hold for 15 minutes just waiting to talk to staff. Often told the next available was in weeks. The chokehold on communication meant I never even got to say what was going on and I eventually gave up. Misdiagnosed twice and brushed aside always. Dr. Starr did write down what happened and kept decent, not perfect, notes- and did do a thorough physical. I also had an issue with a Rx which was supposed to be refillable but which I instead had to go through their office every month. Very annoying and beauracratic place. Another thing, I thought it was weird and uncomfortable that I had to wear a gown for the entire physical.

The practice has been unrecognizable since Dr. Rees retired. First words out of this doctor's mouth: "I only have fifteen minutes." I'm using Norwood Urgent Care until I can find a new doctor.
