One of the Best…
He is so knowledgeable. Dr. R is straight forward to the point. He’s been doing this for a while and has so much experience. He works well with coordinating with my other Drs.

I seen Dr. Ramharrack one time. Dr. Ramharrack and his assistant were fabulous. His front office staff on the other hand is another story. I work in the medical field so I know the importance of having all the medical records you need for appointments. I got all of my records together and had them faxed over prior to my appointment. I called about 1 week prior to check and make sure they were received; the front office staff confirmed they were received. I arrive to my appointment and was greeted with do you have your records. I explained I already had them sent and confirmed. They could not find them. So I had to call my Dr.'s office and do an urgent request to send them over since I had already drove from Crystal River to Ocala for the appointment. Next I had follow-up appointment scheduled, that I ended up having to cancel the morning of the appointment. I called 1st thing in the morning 8:30am to cancel the appointment. Went to my PCP and find out I had bronchitis and and double ear infection. Now the office refuses to see me because I will not pay the $50 fee. I understand the policy and why it is in place, but there has to be some exception to the rule. I can't tell my body oh you can't be sick today I have an appointment. Would the office rather me come in and pass my bug along, and not be considerate of the staff and other patients. The worst part is the lady who answered the phone has zero compassion, no "I'm sorry I hope you’re feeling better," no "let me see if there is anything I can do for you." Absolutely no "soft skills" at all. As healthcare workers that is one of the biggest skills we have to have. We literally deal with people during some of the worst stages of their lives. I am truly sad that I will not be able to see Dr. Ramharrack but I cannot afford to pay a $50 fee just because I woke up sick.

Office visit
I had a new patient visit for labs, RX and US order. The visit felt rushed and Dr. Ramharrack comes across as disinterested. The doctor was not receptive to giving me an US order that could be used at a radiology facility of my choice. Instead he wanted to do my annual US in his office. After my request, he became very dismissive and I had to defend my request. Very poor experience.

This Doctor and his Staff Care
First, his staff is fabulous. Great on the phone, extremely helpful getting me in, warm friendly welcome when I walked in the door. Diana, the nurse, also fabulous—very smart and friendly. In our conversation she pointed out the things I should bring up to the doctor. Dr. R was great. Very knowledgeable and he listened to everything I needed to say, asked questions and actually examined me based on what I had to say. I had a time constraint for follow up which he could have said too bad we’ll have to just wait but he didn’t. Instead he ordered my bloodwork stat and is squeezing me in on Friday so I’ll be ok. He cares. I feel like he’ll have me sorted out in time and I appreciate that it’s not his emergency but he made it his emergency when he didn’t have to.

Horrible experience without ever seeing the doctor. My primary referred me to this doctor to biopsy some lumps on my thyroid. I called several times, leaving messages. In total, I called seven times over three weeks, leaving messages that I had called previously and needed a biopsy; asking them to return my call. NOTHING! Not one call back. Don’t waste your time waiting for this doctor’s office to return your call!

No...staff & Doctor...rude and any errors blame on patient not staff. Issued wrong prescriptions on more than 1 occasion. Do not answer phone or return calls in timely manner. Stay clear of this practice - which seems to be what they are doing "practicing" and still haven't got it right! LOOK ELSEWHERE!

When I went in for my appointment none of my records had been transferred over, so I expected a long wait. But within 15 minutes all my records were there from two other doctors. He was professional and it didn't feel like he was rushing me in and out. He took time to ask me questions and about family history. He was very thorough. If you are looking for a doctor to joke around with you he is not the one for you. But if you are looking for a good doctor, this is the guy.

Dr. Ramharrack and his staff are very unorganized and not good with bedside manners. If you're looking for an endocrinologist, I suggest going to someone else.
