Dr. Gabriela Zandomeni, MD

Staff was pretty terrible overall with the exception of ONE nurse who I believe left the practice. Doc has very little bedside manner throughout the entire prenatal care/delivery room. I was induced(which she scheduled) and didn’t show up till an hr after they called her to come deliver, I was told I’d probably have to do an emergency c-section (which was the whole reason for the induction to avoid that) until she showed up at the very last minute. We avoided a c-section and my baby was healthy, but as a first time mom I would have appreciated more compassion and little hand holding. If you’re a seasoned Mom she might be a good choice as your appointments will be in and out and little time will be wasted explaining things you would already know.

No compassion. I was pregnant with my first and had a miscarriage. When explaining things she always went to worse case every time even telling me how ways I could pass away or get cancer! Traumatic!

She is prompt, thorough, and understanding. She made sure I understand my options.

I cant say enough good things about her!! I love love Dr.Z! I recommend her to everyone! and they love her as well! My sister and I have both been delivered by her she is so sweet and was so supportive during my breastfeeding journey!

Wait time is minimal. Clean office. The staff has always been friendly to me. My first few visits with Zandomeni went well, I felt heard, open to ask questions, felt free to give my input on decisions. My third visit was a GOD-AWFUL experience. Some news came when going over test results that made me fearful as a first time mom. I cried. A lot. She made me feel crazy. "Is this a normal reaction? Do you need to go up on your anxiety meds?" "I understand your fears. You're a first time mom--this is understandable. It's going to be ok." would have been a much more appropriate response to someone already suffering from clinical anxiety. My first appointment without my supportive husband. I felt attacked and dumbfounded like, is she really asking me this? After that, the Dr decided that same, already-tense appt, was a good time to talk about the sensitive topic of breastfeeding; a conversation that could've easily been tabled for another time. I cried more. No reassurance. Won't go back.
