Only talks about himself!
Dr Fuchs is the most self centered person you’ll ever meet! Spends the whole appointment talking about himself, then as he walks out of room, asks how patient is doing. That is unless he chooses to berate you for being on the meds he prescribed. Constantly whines he makes no money, and will never be able to retire. Was out of town for the first “pill count” in 20 years, and he kicks me out! Zero ethics!!

Very caring about your health and safety.
I was referred to Dr. Fuchs by my family physician after I explained to her that the pain specialist I was seeing was prescribing way too strong of a dose of medication. I was told by him (The pain specialist )I had to follow his directions. After my appointment with Dr. Fuchs he help me with a regimen of medication that I could tolerate and was strong enough to ease my pain but not put me in danger of overdose (not like the pain specialist I seen before dr. Fuchs) I asked Dr. Fuchs at one point to put me on a lower dose of pain meds to see if I could tolerate the pain but my pain was too severe so he was kind enough to put me back on the regimen I was on before. If you’re looking for a pain specialist that puts your (SAFELY FIRST) Dr. Fuchs is the one I would recommend. I would like to say to anyone reading this review to be very careful of some of the pain specialists out there like the one I had before Dr. Fuchs . Dr. Fuchs will always put your SAFTY FIRST!!!!

early 2000's Went to Dr. Fuchs for neck and low back pain. He was a great find. I treated with him for osteoarthritis, low back pain and fybro-myalgia. He gave me many spinal injections with great care. I only left treating with him because of a long drive. I found a provider near my home. Big mistake. I am sorry I left Dr. Fuchs. He did his job for me with great care.

Dr. Fuchs is the perfect example of an old-fashioned private practice. He cares about you, your pain, your quality of life and your future health. He is NOT going to give you a bunch of prescriptions to keep you quiet and happy. So, if you are looking for a doctor who’ll give you the most pills – look elsewhere. If you are looking for doctor who will listen to you, advocate for your well-being and deliver and prescribe the best care available; that’s Dr. Fuchs.

Dr. Fuchs is awful. He doesnt listen to your concerns. Every appt I had with him all he would talk about is politics, what makes people do the things they do or why do they act the way they act. He complained nonstop about everything. He never once looked at my area of concern. I tried telling him the meds he had me on were not working. He kept giving me the same ones. He has no personality. I am so glad I do not see him anymore. If you have pain and want a real Dr. do not go to Dr. Fuchs!!

Simgle worst experience EVER. We were treated well before he walked into the room. He was immediately belligerent. Said NOTHING that was of any help. Just repeatedly said "it's complicated, how is this my problem, you should be at U of M, not here, I just went to a seminar, and we don't treat this was - and suggested we see a Psychiatrist- like my wife's pain was a mental problem. She has degenerative disc disease, had 9 back surgeries. We needed a pain doc in our new home-don't go here!
