Dr. Gary Shapiro, MD

He refused to provide good quality care, was kurt and extremely rude to me. Don't take your dear mother, wife, child or dog to this man. I shared my experience about this place with alot of people I know. Come to find out that my mechanic had a similar experience at this organization and had to go to a renowned hospital in Philly to get a proper diagnosis because 'this place didn't know what they were doing'. He said they were very dismissive of him. So after sharing my experience here with alot of people I realize it's not just me and this place is not its all its hyped up to be.

Dr Shapiro was attentive to my problem, listened to me and sought a solution that was acceptable to me. Thank you Dr Shapiro.

Dr. Shapiro did a great job repairing my torn Achilles tendon and monitoring my recovery. Highly recommend if, unfortunately, this type of surgery is required.

My first visit here & I was definitely not impressed with my orthopedic doctor, Dr. Shapiro. First of all he comes in the exam room, doesn’t even ask me any questions as to what my symptoms are, doesn’t do any physical exam of my knee. Doesn’t even make eye contact as he’s showing me the x-rays and tells me that I have arthritis and then blames it on my weight (which I know I need to lose weight) but the reason I’m going to see him is because I have an acute injury. I tore my meniscus and I have a stress fracture and he focuses on the arthritis? Dude that’s not why I’m there. I’ve had arthritic changes in my knee for a while & I already knew that but it was never hurting me. But now it’s hurting because of my meniscus tear. He’s trying to tell me that the meniscus tear is not an acute injury. Blaming my pain on my weight was the rudest thing ever. I hurt myself hiking. I’ll never return to him; he has horrible bedside manners. Showed no empathy and didn’t even examine my knee. Wth?

Dr. Shapiro explained everything in detail and made me understand what he would be doing and I was completely comfortable.

Great office staff. Friendly and fast. Dr never reviewed or asked about my medical history. Sad for a new patient. Could’ve helped diagnose.

The nurses had great bedside manner very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Schapiro was also an extremely nice man, very smart, and made me feel comfortable with what is going on and helped explain what my injury was limitations and possible outcomes thank you so much for your outstanding professionalism

Very good experience. Dr. Shapiro is great. I came in for a Euflexa injection into my right knee, and Dr. Shapiro was very professional and thorough. His friendly manner was very reassuring. I was happy to see that he was using ultrasound to make sure that the injection was going in with the utmost accuracy. I am scheduled to receive two more follow-up injections, and I am confident that Dr. Shapiro will handle this in his professional and friendly manner. Thank you Dr. Shapiro.
