Awful.
Terrible doctor who had zero bedside manner. Dr. Greebel spoke to my husband and I as if we were idiots. The wait was over an hour and the staff does not know how to handle a five year old who is nervous about eye drops. What a joke- do yourself a favor and stay away. The worst experience ever.

AWFUL, not even worth 1 star
Condescending and rude to both children and adults alike. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone unless you like being treated like dog poop. I tried to make an appointment with someone else in her office but she was the first available so I took it. Now I know why she was available. Terrible bedside manner.

RUDE AND CONDESCENDING
I cannot believe she is a pediatric MD. I'm not quite sure whys she feels she can speak to her patients the way she does. She ought to be ashamed of herself. She should treat her patients the way she would want to be treated. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone.

Very condescending
My child is a newer patient and I am honestly shocked at how condescending Dr Greebel is. When she’s smiling and trying to be nice it comes off as disingenuous. I will go a couple more times and see how I feel about her, but it this continues I will have to find a new dr.

Rude and Mean
Rude and mean, equally to children and adults. I've never encountered a doctor with this bad of a bed side manner. I'm not sure how she is allowed to work with children or people of any age. I have no doubt that she is qualified as a doctor (which she'll be the first to tell you about) but every other visit is painful to go through. We've stayed with her for a few years since she has been treating our son since he was a baby. We almost left a year ago, but stayed due to a sob story she gave us about receiving bad reviews (about being rude). Today was the last straw. During the eye exam of my 4 year old she was getting frustrated with my son answering that things were too small and couldn't see them on the eye chart. She turned to my wife, and said in a condescending and rude fashion, and asked if he was feeling ok, which he was but imagine things were hard to see. She gave out a big sigh and huffed and puffed out of the room to "give him a minute." She came back and tried agai

We love Dr Greebel . My son has some special needs and she has always been wonderful with my son over several years of care. She is willing to give us the time we need in the office. We had been to many eye doctors before her and she was able to recognize a condition my son had where other doctors did not recognize. She has been a caring part of my sons medical team . I couldn’t give her a higher recommendation.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for months! Dr. Greebel was patient, compassionate and fantastic with my 3 year old daughter. We were visiting the NY area and needed to see a pediatric ophthalmologist. I am now literally planning trips to NY based on when my daughter needs an ophthalmologist appointment!! Great office, great staff— thank you Dr. Greebel! I also loved the glasses selection in the office store.

She is so bright, diligent, conscientious, funny, smart. She never gave up on our daughter’s vision issues and because of that created a custom plan to help her develop. Consulted with peers and industry experts to craft the best course of action. We have been with her since our daughter was 2 months old, she is now 5 yo. Her surgery skills are amazing, as is the team she selects at the hospital. Everything about her and this practice makes us happy. Our daughters are eager to see her!

My husband and I brought my 3 year old this morning. We did not leave with a good feeling. Although the doctor may be good at what she does she was short and rude and basically was “threatening” to dilate my daughters eyes if she wouldn’t open them after my daughter was cooperative the whole exam and her eyes hurt to open them. As a pediatric specialist I would think she has methods to get the results needed . Apparently I wasn’t “assisting” her in the correct way either as she seemed frustrate

my husband and mother-in-law brought my daughter in to see Dr Greebel today. My husband said she was so rude. My daughter was fussy so my MIL went to take something off the desk to show her and the Dr told her not to touch things that aren’t hers (sure she prob shouldn’t have touched it but there are nicer ways to say that). She told my husband not to ask questions until she was done the exam in a nasty tone. My husband was so annoyed and refuses to go back there bc of the way she treated them.

Both my boys really took to Dr. Greebel's warm and friendly bedside manner (even the older one who's hard to win over!) She took time to explain everything and gave me confidence in her diagnoses. Will certainly return.

Dr. Greebel was rude and pretentious. Her hubristic character was disturbing. She was very demanding about having her do a refraction on my children. Initially, she threw the consent to refraction paper on my lap and said she couldn't examine the children without me signing the refraction consent. I told her I would be having my optometrist do the refraction to which she had a temper and spoke in a condescending manner. She argued with me in front of my children which was inappropriate.

My daughter loves going to doctor's appointments with Dr. Greebel. The office is great for kids and Dr. Greebel works with children very well. She's playful with my daughter, in order to get her to look at something or take an exam without even knowing she's doing it. I love all the gizmos and gadgets Dr. Greebel uses to make the eye exams super kid-friendly. She really knows her stuff -- and knows her patients.

Dr. Greebel is a wonderful, smart pediatric ophthalmologist. She took care of my 4 year old, fidgety son who was not easy to treat. She is patient and explains her procedures and my continued follow-up easily and very professionally. My son left her office with a smile on his face and a hand full of stickers. We are lucky she has a practice in Westchester, while working on staff at Columbia Presbyterian in NYC.
