Spine Assessment
I am overweight, so Dr. Alsina did not go over the problems concerning my pain throughoutmy visit, except to tell me my back is a mess. What I remember the most is he recommended that I go to the building next door and get bariatric surgery.

Best Neuro ever
I had a very complicated staged procedure in 2010 by Dr. Alsina. He is without a doubt the best neurosurgeon in this area. I’d be in a wheelchair right now if it weren’t for him. I thank God for him everyday.

I was a patient of Dr George Alsinas at the Bowling Green, Ky Med Center Health. He was very thorough in reviewing my test and very upfront with the needed care for my condition. I trust him completely. He has recentely left the Bowling Green, Ky Med Center. I wish I could still see him and get my surgery done with him.

Overweight MD won't operate on overweight patients
Gives the impression of being knowledgeable, but basically walked out of the room leaving the impression of being the best, but I'm not touching you.

Dr. Alsina is the very best Neurosurgeon!
And I’m 1000% satisfied with Dr. GEORGE ALSINA‘s work.I was robbed and beat unconscious kicked in the back, neck at many levels if my spine and head.Dr Alsina has done excellent surgery for me and all of the different spinal fusions that and removal of lamina and other surgeries. There’s no doubt in my mind that any other surgeon in the world could have done the amazing job that Dr. Alsina has done each time.I will never trust anyone with my brain or spine other than him! What Dr. Alsina says that needs to be done is always the very best for you.He explains every surgical procedure, physical therapy etc…is the absolute skilled diagnosis that anyone can have.I see a lot of these reviews I’m telling you that all patients are very different. Many go back living on pain meds that do them no good except make you addicted. The alcoholics or drug addicts will never follow the Doctors orders. They don’t show up for PT there’s no way you will heal appropriately. Do your own part in your recovery!

He did back surgery on me in Sept. 2016. He told me I would be fine by Dec. 2016. I went to another surgeon in my home town of Greensboro NC. He took an xray and said the basket he put in my back had dropped and if he did not operate I would be paralyzed. Thank God for Dr. Ditty, he saved me ! I would not let Dr. Alsina operate on my worst enemy! Someone needs to tell this guy to retire !

Would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. He performed my grandma’s spine surgery and severed a nerve in her back. That was years ago and she is still affected by it tremendously to this day. She can barely walk and she is constantly in pain. Would strongly recommend seeking someone else!!!

Dr. Alsina is absolutely the best neurosurgeon that anyone could ask for. My husband has needed Dr. Alsina twice now and each time Dr. Alsina explains everything to his patients in verbiage that they understand and answers all questions asked. If you are in need of a neurosurgeon believe me Dr. Alsina is the best there is!

The most uncaring doctor I have ever had to deal with. This so called doctor performed surgery on my father and never followed up for a month after the surgery. At that point my dad had problems. We called many times before the first visit and he just gave new meds to him. 1 entire month ??? does any surgeon wait and put off a patient when they call the office and say they are in pain ???? Yes he DID !!! Run do not walk away from this so called DR. We trusted him, we questioned many times.

He was very helpful and considerate. He assisted me with getting Social Security disability and I didn't even know it. His PA staff of Nate and Kate are very nice and professional. All three of taking the time to give full explanations and reasons for new procedures that are explained greatly. Dr. Alcina is currently not in my insurance Network and I had to fight with him to get to see him again as an in-network doctor for an upcoming surgery.

Explains your condition and treatment options very clearly. Very friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable speaking to him. Did not rush through anything the way most doctors do. Learned more about my condition with one session with Dr. Alsina than I did from the other four doctors I had been to over a seven month period.
