Was in Griffin Hospital and needed a cystoscopy
This is after three days of hematuria, bleeding from my bladder. Instead of just doing the procedure she told me to just have a urologist do it in their office and she was not going to do the procedure while I was in Griffin. Now I have waited 5 weeks to get it set up with my doctor. Her explanation for the bleeding was its due to an enlarged prostate....so not bladder cancer or other issues that could of been addressed right then.

Terrible Communication and Care
My 87 yo mother went to Dr. Biggs after being released from the hospital with a catheter. She gave her an internal to check for prolapse then told her she could get dressed and left her in the stirrups with no assistance to get up. She refused to take the catheter out or to explain her reasoning for leaving it in, rushed us out of the room and we were unable to get another appointment for a month. There was NO follow up and my Mom got an infection and was hospitalized again. We have since switched to a new urologist who took out the catheter within days and has been following up and in touch ever since.DO NOT RECCOMMEND

Who knew how good she was?
Dr. Biggs told me more about my condition in 15 minutes than I had been told over nine years, by two other doctors. She was so thorough and explained everything. A very smart, professional, kind and gentle doctor. I would recommend her to anyone. Also, as always Kristine at the front desk makes every visit easier and better. She is always ready to help with anything I need from appointments to help reaching the doctor or an APRN when needed. Her kindness and professionalism is so appreciated.

Does not care and not impressed.
So go in for a visit for issues with peeing and I really did not need a lecture on my weight and needing lifestyle changes with everything going on in my life dealing with mental health issues , Did not give a good exam and would not recommend her to anyone.

Horribly rude unprofessional.
My regular doctor who I had an appointment was called away. She was the replacement that day. She was extremely rude and unpleasant. Would not recommend her to anyone living

POOR COMMUNICATION AND LESS THAN OPTIMAL OUTCOME
Surgery was not a positive experience. Dr was mildly cordial but dismissive with arrogant undertones. Poor communication prior to surgery. I was NEVER told I would have an episiotomy...but yet I woke with one having been done. Many other examples of poor communication. This was my 7th major surgery, so I have previous comparative experience with surgery, including a hysterectomy...never have I had a surgical experience like this where the outcome was not at all what I expected, and where my concerns were dismissed. Never have I had so many complications. And now I'm learning I will need further surgery to correct issues that went wrong in the first surgery. Will be seeking second opinions on this and NOT going back.

Compassionate & Knowledgable
My first visit with Dr. Biggs was extremely reassuring. The office administrator was very polite and Dr. Biggs’ medical assistant was very attentive. We sat down in Dr. Biggs’ office talked about my issues, history, etc., and she was very understanding. We discussed potential remedies, but nothing was for sure until we did the exam. Once the exam was over, she explained to me what she thought would be the best to help me, asked me if I agreed (which I did), and I left there feeling more optimistic than I had when I walked in.

Terrible experience
My husband and my mother have gone to this office. Dr. Biggs treated my mother horribly. She hurt my mother and was very uncaring. Her staff was very impatient and also uncaring. I have never experienced such a negative office visit. We will never return. Dr. Camilieri was my husband’s physician in this office. The doctor has since retired and my husband has seen the PA staff ever since. The last visit was not good. He has had a stroke so I go with him to all appointments. They told me to wait and they would come get me. They never did so anything that was discussed with him is now lost. This was the same staff assistant that was so unkind to my mother. This office is part of Griffin Faculty Practice which is supposed to practice the Planetree model of care with patients. They are decidedly un-Planetree!
