Dr. Abbasi is an excellent surgeon. His staff on the other hand is very unprofessional. I have been calling and leaving messages for a return call from the PA and leaving messages on the portal for over a week after a scheduled telehealth appointment that the PA recommended and they never called me for. For some reason they are blowing me off and will not return my call and all of my portal messages are replied to with days later asking me what I need when I've explained in detail that THEY requested the telehealth follow up. I do not recommend using Inspired Spine!

Dr Abbassi caused nerve injury in my spine while doing a dye injection for a myelogram (CT with contrast). Over 2 months later, I still have weakness and loss of muscle control in my lower right leg. He also recommended a surgical procedure that another surgeon told me would have been a big mistake. I would not recommend going to this doctor.

I had been falling down for three years. I had seen several neurologists and two other neurosurgeons who said there was nothing wrong with me. I finally found Dr Abbasi and he proceeded to find out what was wrong with me. The disk at S8/9 was pressing on my spinal cord causing the weakness in my legs. He did surgery in December of 2016 to which I recovered in less than 30 days. I thank God for finding Dr Abbasi as I would have had to go in a nursing home if he hadn't fixed my back.

I'm a 57 year-old with constant back pain for >30 years after an accident. my pain progressed whereby it was constantly at 5 or higher. I had a spinal fusion at L5-S1 in 2009 and the pain was reduced 60%, a "good outcome". the relief lasted only 4 years, then my L4-L5 started causing worse pain and sciatica. Wary of surgery chasing the pain up my spine. I put it off until i couldnt walk. Dr Hamid. performed an OLLIF and laminectomy. Within one day, the pain was completely gone. Hello, new life!

After several years of just dealing, I was recommended to see Dr. Abbasi, I had already seen 2 other surgeons and was not happy with the way they viewed me, my problem, and how they wanted to treat me. After meeting Dr Abbasi, I knew quickly he was the right surgeon for me. The pain and numbness that radiated down my leg is gone and the low back pain is non-existent; prior to surgery I was always at an 8/10 and falling on my face. I wish I would have met Dr. Abbasi years ago.

My Chiropractor Chris Singer recommended I consult with Dr, Abbasi about my left leg sciatic pain. When I did, Dr. Abbasi said he could get rid of the pain! He did it in 82 minutes on the operating table. When I woke up the pain was gone. I walked the halls in the hospital that afternoon.and went home a day and a half later. Everyone at the Brain & Spine Institute are very professional, friendly and well organized. All my questions were answered. An excellent and very successful experience.

Dr. Abbasi performed a spinal fusion on my L3-L/5 in Nov of 2016. My experience has been excellent. He has a great bedside manner. It's important to him you understand the procedure and he is very patient answering questions. Even though I had two previous back surgeries in the 1990's resulting in scar tissue, I was able to have the minimally invasion procedure Dr. Abbasi has perfected. The difference in my recovery now compared to two decades ago is amazing! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Abbasi!

Dr. Abbasi has the best bedside manner I have experienced. Not only in his office, but in the hospital as well. He made me feel very comfortable about the decision to have back surgery. He was very thorough in explaining everything from the beginning of appointments with him, all testing and results, and follow up appointments. I have already recommended him to a couple of acquaintances.

Sufferer of horrific burning, disabling nerve pain. Year 2007 I received a (failed) lumbar spine fusion? Then referred to pain management. I Searched for help for 10 years. I was finally blessed when I was guided to Dr. Abbasi! 1rst visit, I asked if he could help rid me of bed bound pain. After tests and exam Dr. Abbasi said YES! It's your SI joint, or joints. Dr. Abbasi a caring, professional surgeon! Did take the burning pain away, 4 days ago! Thank you Dr. Abbasi! All staff! Thank God!

I have searched for help from disabling pain after receiving a failed lumbar fusion, ( since 2007) Dr. Abbasi asked many questions, ordered tests; x Ray, CAT scan, MRI. On the first visit Dr. Abbasi, told me he could help. He performed all test injections himself, so as to find the source of that burning horrid pain, or nerve pain that often confined me to my bed. Dr. Abbasi the only surgeon, that did check my SI joints. 4 days post op, SI joint fusion surgery. I thank God, I thank Dr. Abbasi!

Dr Abbasi gets right to the point, doesn't tip toe around. The first time I saw him he said right away he sees the problem but first we must take all the necessary steps, PT, Disco Gram & final decision. The Disco Gram really did show my major issue taking place. So we set up surgery to repair damaged area. Right away the pain I had was gone, now just a short recovery time thanks to the minimal surgery he preforms. He is very good at making sure your recovery is has painless as possible.

I have had spine surgery in the past done the old way and they were pure hell. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Abbasi and after taking an MRI he told me (you are really in bad shape but the good news is I can fix you). And he has kept his word. The surgery went very fast and I was out of bed and walking 4 hours later. This was the most remarkable treatment I have ever had. Arlo Buchholz Grove City, MN
