Never even got to see him. I called a few months back to make an appt. First I was told that they screen their calls and take their time in calling you back then because I didn't have my insurance card yet they wouldn't even consider making an appt. until I got my ins card. I needed to get in pretty quick as my PCP was not going to help me with my pain management. Then when I get my card my wife called on Mon. and received no return call back from them by Thur so she left another message to let them know that I had my ins card and they promptly called me back and said that because my wife called to many times they were not going to accept me as a patient. How are you supposed to get a hold of someone at that office. The whole staff has no empathy, so sad.

He took all the time that was needed. He understood my issues and understood how to address them and came up with a successful plan that is now being put into action. He is very thoughtful and a very skilled pain doctor. His communication skills are fine. I could not ask for more. His office staff are also fine and professional. Prescott is very lucky to have him and them. I highly recommend his practice.

The shots I received did not alleviate the pain in my back. I was told before hand they do not always work. But, they are expensive, uncomfortable treatments to provide no relief. His billing service tried to bill me for services Humana had denied. That is not allowed by "in network" doctors.

I have seen Dr Gutgsell numerous times over the last two years. He is patient and understanding and is very efficient as his staff is as well

Dr Gutgsell saw me the same day he received my referral. He patiently answered all my questions and did not pressure me to begin treatment.. Medications were prescribed in a timely manner. Wait times were minimal. I was nervous about the epidural and again he was patient and understanding. I would recommend him!

Dr. Gutgsell is a nonsense doctor who takes care of his patients to the utmost of his ability.
