He is a very dishonest person
This man should not ne practicing medicine in this country. I have a few severe injuries that have been present for quite some time. Multiple imaging has verified this with multiple providers. then out of the blue this quack says no such injuries are present in my body. I asked to see the radiology report and he claimed he didnt need to read them, he can see for himself. This man doesn't know I have 2 medial professionals in my family. Before I go after his license to practice I want to see him face to face again. maybe he was reading the wrong reports. HIs demeanor is also questionable.

Worse office ever.cant get in touch with them.
The office manager in Williamsville was very rude. You leave messages.Nobody can't text you back I was four months overdue for an injection and when i've told them about it nobody got back to me. Paperwork was submitted wrong four times in a row even with a lawyer and a workman's camp rep telling them what to do.

Very Rude!!
Refused to listen to me explain the problems with my back. I had a wonderful dr who had to stop taking comp and I was thrown to this guy. No prep, no numbing spray just started stabbing me in my back with needles. I have NEVER felt that kind of pain. He hit one of my nerves and I have been numb on one side for 6 months. When I told him about it, he disregarded it and said that he didn’t believe me. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. He is rude, arrogant, and just wants the insurance money. He could care less about you and your issues or problems. RUN!!!

This is an outstanding doctor. I waited 15 minutes almost every time. That’s good people with pain appreciate such efforts, he’s been since June that I know of. I found out about 5 days prior. He listens, he cares and the pain you’re in and does other tests like movement exedra. He was a superstr if you asked me. He took care of a large multitude of patients in different locations the same day, every day!. Still showed up to my appointment on time. Technically you check in 15 min prior. So even though you wait 15 min it’s because those 15 minutes you wait is when your appointment is do. He asked a multitude of questions I had a head injury one visit and I was nothing near myself. He was understanding 100 percent. He cared about his team and getting them home on time. I was always last timeline so that’s how I noticed. Wherever he went I hope all is ok in his health and his families health. Who knows, he may pop up in another WNY location. We will see. I have a new doctor there now although some of the things I said were not accurate or left out his letter completely hoping that’s a last timer. I need to know my words are accurately being stated. I do know I’m grateful he took me on he’s been taking all of his own with all of doctor Kalia’s patients. Cannot image his work load. It has to be difficult to recall word for word at his patient rate level so I do understand. He’s nice, preventable . Did a test this office does not usually do because he was concerned. All came out well and abdomen test. I was glad to hear and glad to see he was concerned because that showed his empathy. Back to doctor kalia. Thank you for treating me three years or so you did such an excellent job.

Good doctor - I felt cared for & he listened to me
Dr. Kalia was my doctor for 10 years. I saw him prior to my car accident; for fibromyalgia pain & migraines. I continued to see him after my car accident; for herniated discs & back pain (among other injuries). He listened to my concerns, gave me answers that were clear enough to understand & I never felt that I could not talk to him. Yes, the appts are somewhat "rushed". This is a very busy office & they see a LOT of patients. Staff are pressured to speed up appointments so I can't blame Dr. Kalia too much for that. I did feel as though my appts were given enough time. The staff has always been great except when I got injections. Then things seemed rushed by the staff but not the doctor. He explained things well during the procedures. Dr. Kalia recently left the practice. I liked him as a doctor and felt I could trust him with my care. My back improved a lot under his care. He continued to treat me after my hip replacements & my back surgery. I recommend seeing him if you can.

Dr Kalia is a wonderful physician
4 years ago, after 9 months of chemotherapy, I was crippled with back and nerve pain due to 4 compressed lumbar discs. A series of injections allowed me to walk and live again. The nurses and staff at the Unity Spine Center were all caring and competent.

This injection place is an assembly line. So changed from when I originally went. The nurses barely go through the steps now for explaining the procedure and consent forms. The doctor barely looks at you.The last injection I got was horrendous. I waited months to get in missing my insurance deductible window from last year and he canceled this appointment at the last minute as I was on my way with no apology. When I was on the table, the nurse yanked down my pants and left me exposed for several minutes while they all laughed and talked and ignored my presence. It was really insulting and embarrassing. On top of that, the injection didn't work and I've had worsening problems ever since which the referring Dr. Wu refused to discuss at my recent appointment. I felt invisible and this procedure has just cost me well over a thousand dollars because I had to pay for the operating room which i never had to do before. Make sure you check your insurance before you have it done!

I have been in pain for the majority of my adult life. He is extremely rude, treated me like a drug addict, he was condescending and did not want to hear the past treatments that I have had. He constantly talked over me and when I finally said "listen! I have been a nurse for 32 years, I know my body please listen," well he did not like that one bit and stormed out of the room. He is a terrible doctor, I guess I will go back to Strong.

Dr. Kalia has given me a new purpose in life. I have seen multiple surgeons, pain docs , spine docs but Dr. Kalia was honest and the first one to listen and help me. I have back pain even after 7 spine surgeries, my last surgeon offered another one but Dr. Kalia put a pain pump which has literally given my life back. If you are struggling with chronic pain go see him, there might be a waiting period to see him but trust me, it"s worth it!!!!

Extremely rude, and poor bedside manner. Refused to even converse with me about the side effects I was experiencing on topamax. Kept repeating that he didn't know why my PCP put me on topamax and I should just go ask him. Wouldn't help me find a new med even though top wasn't work Doc, your the pain specialist! You should know more about a chronic pain condition than a primary care. Seriously, save yourself the money, time and stress and find a doc that actually cares. This guy is a quack.

I would not recommend this Doctor. I was not allowed to explain my pain. I was told I could only talk about one part of my back even if the pain was from neck to ribs, I could only discuss my neck in one visit. Demeanor was curt and seemed rude. I also felt the practisioner was curt and unwilling to listen or discuss my complete problem. I appreciate a Doctors education I do not appreciate ( after waiting 2 months for an appointment) being rushed, and not being able to explain my entire pain.
