Dr. Henry Spinelli, MD

Dr. Spinelli operated on me to remove a skin cancer from the right side of my neck. The complicating factor in this procedure was that the tumor was positioned directly above a wire running between my brain and a simulator in my abdomen. Obviously, if this lead were damaged I could be in trouble! The entire Deep Brain Surgery (DBS) might need to be repeated. I consulted with several surgeons prior to the procedure. Only Dr. Spinelli had the combination of experience and skill to successfully complete the task. Thanks to him and the entire staff for their exceptional performance.

I was referred to Dr Spinelli by my GP of 30 years. From my first meeting I was confident that he would do a good job. He explains everything clearly and did the right tests. He has a great team whether in the hospital or in his office. After the surgery his follow up to make sure everything was ok was exemplary.. I was referred to Dr. Spinelli by my ophthalmologist for blepharoplasty surgery and from the initial consultation I knew I had been steered to the right surgeon and practice. Not only is Dr. Spinelli a professional, who is attentive and will listen to the patient's concerns but will ease your worries. His staff is superb and go out of their way to make the patient feel comfortable and welcomed. I had the most traumatic and horrible experience with this doctor. It took me years to find someone to correct it. He didn't have the skills he claimed to have. He's a great salesman so beware.

Ten years ago I had silicone breast implants. In beginning of 2021 I noticed a significant change in one breast. Concerned, I immediately visited with the original surgeon. He basically sent me away suggesting it was fine, no harm it a capsule formed is what he said. In addition staff was rude and unhelpful. A few months later I went back again because became very painful. Same routine and no help at all. I suffered all year long with a number of unique health issues, in and out of ER, and became very ill. Finally I went for an MRI end of that year and was told a ruptured implant and had been leaking all year long. Panicked, I finally met with Dr. Spinelli who went over and beyond to help me. He scheduled a surgery immediately and was able to remove, clean, replace within a few weeks of meeting. The surgery was an all around amazing experience, and four moths later feeling better than I have in a year. In addition Dr Spinelli is kind and funny and makes you feel at ease the entire way.

I just had my third surgery with Dr. Spinelli. The first two were cosmetic, but this one was actually medical. It was a big procedure and he and his office staff did everything they could to help me prep, get everything taken care of with my insurance and know what to expect. He caught something no other doctor I had seen prior noticed, and it was very important. SO, so grateful.

Dr. Spinelli is both an artist and a gentleman. His work is meticulous. Over a period of years Dr. Spinelli has performed surgery that appealed to my vanity and also worked on my eyes to correct a dry eye problem. Both successful. His office staff is professional and caring. You never feel rushed and the follow-up is flawless. Yes, I am a fan.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Spinelli. After dealing with lifelong breathing issues due to a cleft and sinus condition at birth, I finally decided to do something about it and was referred to Dr. Spinelli. After 3 superbly done surgeries, not only did he address facial, nose and lip reconstruction, he cleared bone internally to open up my sinus airway and I can breathe now like I have never before. Truly life changing.

I recently went to Dr. Spinelli for surgery and was blown away. He was so thorough and so knowledgeable. I never felt rushed and everything was explained to me in detail. I was able to give quite a bit of input in terms of what was important to me without feeling like I was being yes-ed to death. His staff is incredible - warm and accommodating. I used Dr.Spinelli for breast surgery several years ago. One surgery turned into nine. First he made me pay him thousands of dollars out of pocket, even though he took my insurance. He is rude, obnoxious and believes he is god!! Dr. Spinelli is by far the worst surgeon . Don’t believe the articles you read about him. That’s what lured me in. He left me with irreversible scars. Dr. Spinelli did not finish the job. After nine surgeries with him I had to find another surgeon to help me as Spinelli wrote me off. I did extensive research before choosing this doctor. Unfortunately I suffered tremendously due to his lack of expertise with breast reconstruction. I’m writing this review to warn people ahead of time. I wish I would have known as it would have saved me 5 years of going in and out of hospitals!

This man is a medical genius. I am an anesthesiologist who has worked with multiple plastic (and other) surgeons. But when my grandson needed delicate ophthalmo-facial reconstructive surgery, there was no one else I would consider. (Now, 6 months after 4-hour surgery, I can't even find the facial scars).
