THE BEST Doctor for your feet!
I have been seeing Dr Ashry for almost 10 years now. I went to a podiatrist first about 6 visits, no relief, went to a foot surgeon was put into a brace for 6 weeks with no improvement. Went to Dr Ashry and found out I had a heel spur cutting into my tendon. Had surgery to remove spur, rehab, pain gone. Dr Ashry always takes the time to make sure he answers all your questions.

Not sure his diagnosis was correct.
After tests, was told that my problem was arthritis and that I had to throw away all of my current shoes and buy new ones with more of a heel to force my foot in a swelling relieving position I had no pain. I did this and swelling did not change. No relief. Went to another podiatrist and after testing was told there was nothing wrong with my foot. Problem of swelling was most likely veinous insufficiency. Yes, there was a little arthritis but minimal and not the cause of the problem of swelling. Told to wear compression socks. Swelling was relieved. Meanwhile I spent a lot of money on new shoes that are not comfortable and with heels that are not so safe for someone my age. Caused me to twist my ankle several times.

Had seen multiple Doctors about my foot but wasn’t getting anywhere. Dr Ashry wasted no time knew exactly what it was and started working on it right away. Dr Ashry and staff were very accurate, very professional and pleasant to work with.

It is my great pleasure to make this recommendation for Dr Ashry. During the beginning of Covid-19 I was down here in Florida longer than I expected and needed to find a podiatrist and fortunately I found Dr Ashry. While he was working on my feet he notice that he wasn't getting a pulse in my right leg. He immediately made a appointment for me to have a Doppler test when I left his office. Based on the Doppler test results we drove back to NY the next day. To make this story short I was operated on a day after we got back to NY at ST Francis Heart Hospital. I had my first surgery that night and a double bypass the next morning. I Thank God and Dr Ashry for the gift of writing this recommendation. By the way my Dr Mantano in NY said this Dr Ashry "is at the top of his game''. FOREVER GRATEFUL ...to this outstanding Doctor Ashry.. Thank You... Virginia

This doc is the best DPM in the country. He knows his stuff has great best side manners and explains it to you as scientific as you want or keeps it simple. If you want and office that looks like a Ritz Carlton with Motel 6 service this is not it. This office is in a shopping Plaza the staff is busy but they do not waste your time. I saw some reviews that downgraded the office and the doctor and was puzzled probably like the coach who cut Michael Jordan from his High school team or the Teams that passed on Tom Brady or Russel Wilson. As a retired medical rep I have been to almost every office in South Florida working for a great company for 25 years.. I am writing this because it will be helpful to others. Please note with managed care and all the health plans plus emergencies it is not easy being in health care and expecting to be treated like the only patient in the office but when I saw this doctor he treated me like the most important patient he ever had. Simply Amazing

Total Review: I started with pain in my ankle 2 yrs ago after running a half marathon. I live in Miami, so, I saw the Orthopedist at UM. after 5 mo. of physical therapy and splints, no improvement. I saw 1 other Orthopedist who just gave me medications that did not help. Went to 3rd opinion with local podiatrist, who gave me off shelf insoles and sent me to more Physical therapy, both made my pain worse. My problem has become so severe, that I was missing alot of time off work and couldn't do the activities I enjoy (running). My mother sees Dr. Ashry in Boynton and made appt. for me. He sent me for MRI (which no one else did), found out that I had a peroneal tendon injury, placed me in a cast for 3 weeks and designed orhotic to take pressure off that tendon. Wow, I'm finally pain free and back to running. Thank You Dr. Ashry, Cons: sometime long wait times pros: Knowledgeable, care about U as a patient, Experienced, great skills & personality, worth the drive from Miami

Flew down to Florida to see Dr Ashry about having bunion surgery so I could recuperate in the warm weather. Waited 2 1/2 hours before I walked out and never saw him. Don’t go here unless you have a lot of time to sit and wait.

Arrogant and unfriendly. Performed a one minute procedure without anesthetic which was extraordinarily painful. I am a 35 year old man, and I have a pretty fair tolerance to pain, but I saw stars for about 10 minutes after his treatment. I recommend seeing someone different.

I went to see Dr. Ashry on a follow up appointment after I had an MRI for foot pain. I waited for about an hour to be seen, which is understandable, since it is a busy practice. He did not even read the full radiologist report. He diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis and he completely ignored the mass I have on my foot. The MRI report clearly stated the mass presence and even its dimensions! Now, I am having surgery and have suffered from his lack of attention.
