Dr. Lai is the best Dr. I have ever met. He is honest with you, he listens, he has an amazing understanding of drugs and the options available, he is always available and he is very pleasant and personable. His actions saved my life on two occasions. I would highly recommend Dr. Lai to anyone dealing with heart issues.

The doctor doesn't even have his name on the directory in the lobby OR at the entrance to his office. Unfortunately my mother has to come here and she really likes the doctor and I'm sure he's great but who doesn't put their name in the directory of the lobby or at the front door of their office? FONGOOL

I HAVE BEEN SEEING DR. LAI FOR 4 YEARS NOW HAVE HEART FAILURE AND A PACEMAKER. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH DR. LAI HE IS CARING AND TAKES VERY GOOD CARE OF YOU. HE HONEST AND IF YOU NEED HIM HE IS THERE. THANKS DR LAI

Dr. Lai is very caring and competent. He has been taking care of me for years. I trust him wholeheartedly. If there is an urgent matter, he will make sure he gets a hold of you. I have a friend who sees Dr. Lai for CHF. One time, his labs showed severe anemia-he needed a blood transfusion. Dr. Lai was unable to get a hold of him by phone, so he looked up his address, came knocking at his door and told him to go to the ER. Dr. Lai went above and beyond the call of duty and saved my friend's life.

My husband went to see Dr. Lai because he was experiencing symptoms of congestive heart failure (he has had it before): shortness of breath, coughing, severely swollen feet/legs. Dr. Lai never listened to his heart/lungs, did not give him an EKG and did not look at his feet /legs). Dr. Lai suggested scheduling an echo cardiogram and/or angiogram. When asked how long it would take to get these tests, he said "a week or two." We went to the emergency room instead and my husband was admitted.
