Exception to the Rule
I had to have an emergency appendectomy. Dr. Bowers was very kind and informative. I was in a lot of pain and he viewed my medical condition as having the utmost importance. Unfortunately, I have had to deal with several surgeons in Valdosta and would not give them 1 star. Dr. Bowers is a professional yet has the bedside manner of a dear friend. I highly recommend 5 stars out of 5.

He listens to you, considers what you say, and collaborates on treatment. He doesn't give you a line of BS and tells it to you straight. I didn't have to wait very long at the appointments. He's very nice, polite, friendly and respectful, and doesn't talk down to you. He is definitely not a pompous, knife-happy vulture, like they were back in my day. I recommend him without qualification.

Great surgeon
Had laparoscopic hernia surgery. Dr Bowers clearly explained procedure and recovery. Would definitely recommend.
