Dr. Hunter Norris, MD

I like Dr.Norris and his staff. He did my cataract surgery on both of my eyes a few years ago. The one thing that stands out about him is his patience with his patients.

From Chattanooga to Michigan City, Indiana I have searched high and low to find a Dr that could help me. Suggested by NP Mark Vann, I schedule a visit with Dr. Norris, said he helps a lot of patience with MS Multiple Sclerosis. Unfortunately I have this disease. I Thank God for Dr. Norris, I went in believing I'd leave and get the same ole song and dance I've gotten from every other Dr. Not Dr. Norris. After the exam he spent time with me, explained why I wasn't able to see. Explained what was wrong what the goal was and what he could do to help me. I heard no fear in his voice as I did with other Drs. I heard a man of confidence. The sincere sound in his voice made me comfortable, I listen and said yes, let's do this. I couldn't see the big 'E' now I'm seeing 20 40. I traveled 1000,s of miles yet Dr Norris was literally 30 minutes down the Rd. He has now done both eyes and I am forever grateful for God giving Dr Norris the knowledge and ability to helping others as he's helped me!

Dr. Hunter Norris is a doctor with alot of patience, professionalism, love & patient care. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Norris performed a Yag laser capsulotomy on both of my eyes and everything went perfectly. He immediately diagnosed and explained the issue and the laser procedure necessary to correct it, and the surgery went very well. He and his staff treated me with the utmost of courtesy and I couldn't be more pleased.

Dr. Norris performed lasik surgery on my eyes 12 years ago. At that point my eyes were rejecting all kinds of contacts. I have not needed any touch ups or additional surgeries. I am now 56 years old and I am able to see perfectly! Thank you, Dr. Norris! I highly recommend your excellent services.

I have been a patient of the Eye Care Center for 13 years. I have been extremely impressed with the service and care I have received. I am under the care of Dr. Angie Bell, and she is top notch with her attention, knowledge, professionalism and mannerisms. I had an eye issue, and she did not hesitate to call in Dr. Norris to examine my eyes. He was very informative and took excellent care of me. I want to recommend this practice to anyone needing eye care.

Presently I am a college student interested in the health care field. Dr Norris was kind enough to let me observe cataract surgery in the operating room. He explained all the steps clearly and showed me how cataract surgery is so easy for patients to go thru. I can certainly recommend Dr Norris!

Dr Norris has been a compassionate friend to our family getting out late one night to save our son's eye from a potentially blinding accident. We are lucky to have a doctor of his skill in a small town that takes call 24/7.

I had cataract surgery from him. Pieces of the cataract were left. He tried to remove them in 2 more surgeries. Finally another doctor removed the final piece. It was a year from the 1st surgeries to the last.

8:00 appointment: We did eye exam almost immediately, then we had to wait on Dr. Norris to come to the office.

Dr. Norris performed eye surgery on my son, which failed to accomplish the results it was supposed to. I took my son back in for a follow up. During the previous appointments Dr. Norris had been courteous and professional. However, when I took my son back in Dr. Norris would not allow me to talk, and talked down to me in such a manner that it amounted to verbal abuse, making accusations against me. I have never experienced anything so unprofessional from a doctor. I would never recommend him.
