Great doctor
I was a little leery about getting my eyelids cut, but Dr. Meador eased my mind about it. Surgery was uneventful and I felt well afterwards. I loved the staff there as they were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this group.

Was referred to Dr. Meador from Dr. John Miller in Chattanooga, for Thyroid Eye Disease. I was very impressed with each member of his staff that I came in contact with, all were very attentive and respectful. Dr. Meador is young, and GREAT. He is absolutely the most attentive doctor I have ever been to, not only is he very well educated in Thyroid eye disease but of the thyroid itself and everything related to Graves’ disease. I’m positive he is equally educated on all the conditions he treats, as he really cares about each patient and gives you honest straight forward answers. Of course he is working with the great Dr. Wesley, so I wouldn’t expect anything other than top notch! Dr. Wesley is an ophthalmologist/occuloplastics GENIUS and Dr. Meador is well on his way to being just as legendary. Schedule with him, you will not regret it!

My dad had cancer in his eye. Dr. Meador was the third doctor we had seen for treatment. Dr. Meador is the absolute best. Dad had several comorbidities. Dr. Meador looked at the whole patient and determined what the best treatment was for him. No cookie cutter medicine here. No rushing through the exams. He is a straight shooter. He gives you the facts and the options. He is kind. He takes his time. I would highly recommend him for anyone. Your concerns and questions are answered promptly by him or the staff. Everyone is friendly and treat each patient with respect and dignity. He is a skilled surgeon as well as a decent human being. If I could double the stars I would and I am one of those people who rarely give 5 stars.

Referred to Dr A. Meader from Dr. Allen of Dickson Tidwell ophthalmologist for checking/removal of bleb on left lower eye that had increased in size since summer. Yes, I was shocked how young he looked. He was very professional really paid attention to what I had to say and gave back straight feedback as I'm one to give straight answers. I will definitely go back. He really cared and was very kind. Glad to see youth in professional fields to care for those of us who are getting older. This gentleman was definitely raised correctly with manners.

I had a major malfunction with my insurance company (I live in Florida and Dr. Meador is in Tennessee). After getting absolutely nowhere with my insurance company (I suspected fraud), I contacted Dr. Meador's office to let them know that something was up. I have NEVER worked with a doctor's office whose staff and doctor had SO much integrity. Dr. Meador also contacted the insurance company (they too got a letter of service denial) and, like me, got nowhere. I wish that he had his practice here in Orlando. I'd see him for my Intracranial Hypertension optic nerve issues in a heart beat!!!!! If he conducts his patient care as well as he handles questionable claims, I recommend him in a heart beat. I was impressed with his demeanor as well as his staff's attention to the matter. In talking to Dr. Meanor, he presented himself as a patient centered and caring doctor. Thank you all very much. If I am ever in Tenn. & have IH related optic nerve issues, I know have a doc I can trust.
