Very Bad Processes Billing Office Staff
I saw this dr's PA in the ER and an appointment was made for followup. The followup in Wesley Chapel consisted of reviewing meds & scheduling me for a colonoscopy one week and an endoscopy the week after. They scheduled me for two different procedures, despite the fact that these procedures are recommended together. They told me they HAD to do them separately because my insurance company would not pay otherwise. I called my insurance company. This dr office had never even submitted a request. Despite never seeing a DR or a PA, and an appointment for a colonoscopy could have been done by phone, this DR office charged me $125. My copay is $60. They insisted $125 even though all they did is waste my time & MAKE AN APPOINTMENT I DID NOT NEED. Their printer was broken so no receipt. You can't reach them by phone. They don't respond to letters. Now I have a bill saying I never paid the $125. I got a 2nd opinion & didn't even NEED either procedure. I feel scammed.

Unacceptable!
I scheduled a colonoscopy with Dr. Nakshabandi for July 12th. Despite knowing a cleanse was necessary, I received no instructions and had to leave several messages. Only 24 hours before the procedure did I get a call to review my health records, and they were shocked I hadn’t received any instructions. They rescheduled my appointment to July 24th.The only instructions I received were from the Brandon Surgery Center, which stated not to eat 12 hours prior and to clean with disinfectant soap. A week before the rescheduled appointment, I left four messages without any response. On July 22nd, the pre-op nurse called to review my health information, and I told her I still hadn’t received any pre-op instructions. She informed me I should have stopped taking iron supplements a week prior and said she would email Dr. Nakshabandi’s office. There was a lot of confusion and miscommunication, which is dangerous and unacceptable. I do not recommend Dr. Nakshabandi's office.

Money Hungry Father & Son
Absolutely worse experience of my life. Only thing he care about is lining up colonoscopies and EGD’s. The aftercare is an absolute mess. No one answers your calls and if you have a medical need in the meantime please go elsewhere. He and his office staff are absolutely in it for the money. They do not care for you or your health. The follow up is two weeks after your procedure done by medical students who don’t even have an opinion or opinion for you. Ridiculous waste of time and money.

All about the money
The medical staff change the code on the reason for my visit intentionally so that they could not charge at all to the insurance company. When it was brought to their attention by myself and my primary doctors office, they refused to change it.

Rude, Unprofessional Staff
Staff made multiple errors in scheduling my procedure. Procedure was to occur at the TGH Healthplex in Brandon, however they scheduled the procedure at the Ambulatory Center by USF. I asked to reschedule the procedure for the Brandon Healthplex however the first available date was 11/3/22 which was inconvenient as I had no transportation. I told the staff member I needed to get the procedure done in October or I would find another doctor. She said she would cancel the 11/3 date and promptly hung up on me. Maybe she was doing me a favor. Terrible staff!!!!

Worst Care Ever
I was hospitalized w/pancreatitis & assigned this practice. The CT showed something in the pancreas. The PA (I have never seen the doctor) wanted to wait until outpatient to order an MRI (family med ordered it). I was discharged w/follow up 3 weeks later. Despite severe pain & >12 calls to office w/no reply, I was told @follow up (after waiting an hour) it was life threatening, but another 3 weeks till they had an opening to fix it. Then blamed family med for them not doing it while I was in the hospital. But for family med we wouldn't even know what it was yet. PA kept talking about lowering my fat and cholesterol (which are very low already), & about what is happening w/the gall bladder I DON'T have. After I was out the door, they called me back to "do me a great favor" & get me scheduled sooner (@Tampa General, when I live in Wesley Chapel). Total incompetence.

Staff is HORRIBLE!!!
Horrible!!! I had a Endoscopy done at the Surgery Center, and was in pain all that day after the procedure. I called the office a couple days later to advise of my issues and was told very bluntly "there is nothing we can do for you". The person on line referred me to a portal where I explained my problem, and was sent a prescription to my pharmacy. Then the morning of my follow up appointment I was called and told the doctor can not see me because he have appointments at the hospital. I explained that I was having some concerns and really wanted to discuss with the doctor and was told he can see me two days from my appointment or see a PA (didn't know what that was). I said I will see the PA because of my concerns. The person on the line was rude in both interactions with this office. I promise after I follow-up with this provider, I will never return to this office. I will never recommend this provider to anyone!!!

Rude staff
I had a teledoc appointment with the doctor to tell me my results. They called me saying that it is a doctor visit and I didn’t show. I told her it is teledoc and she started being rude to me. I asked her to send my results to my primary doctor since I don’t want to interact with rude and imprecise staff

Bad Customer Services
Good afternoon, today I had very bad attention by phone and then in person from Ms. Diana, they should have more compassionate people on their staff and not this type of rude and indolent people in the face of discomfort due to health problems of their patients Dr. Imad Nakshabendi

Worst experience of my life. Went I. On 08/30/2021 for an EDG ended up later on in the ER in the worst pain ever. Please don’t use this Dr. My appointment was scheduled for 11:00am of course I had to fast for 12 hours. Didn’t get called back to a room until 12:50. It only got worse from there. The nurses couldn’t get an I.V in me and stuck me 7 times. Hit a nerve and I was screaming in pain I’ve never in my life experienced that before. Something told me to run while I had the chance. Waiting on an X-ray now.

Horrible customer service! They book the appointment for a Doctor for a month in advance and then a nurse practitioner shows up to see you! In every other clinic they let you know beforehand that a nurse practitioner will be seeing you and not the doctor himself!! When you demand to see the doctor and ask the fee to be adjusted to that visit, they agree and when ypu show up they ask for a fee again!! They don't let you see the doctor to complain either. Horrible experience, never going back there again!

On June 3rd I was scheduled for a colonoscopy at the Brandon Surgery Center. A new and very beautiful and fully staffed Center. 1) No one ever contacted me to provide a time to arrive. 2) I called to ask and also inform them that I didn't feel as though I was "cleaned out" by the preparation. She had to call me back to tell me to take two fleets and let her know. 3) Told me to just come in. 4) Everything went smoothly to the point that the procedure was complete and they called my daughter to pick me up and as I was leaving they told me that someone would call me to schedule a follow-up. 5) TWO WEEKS later I called them to ask why no one had contacted me? She said she would have to look into it but she never called me back. I called a week later when I was told my PCP, REQUIRES that I follow up with his office first! He had NOTHING to do with the procedure or the scheduling of it! 6) When I asked Dr. Nakshabendi's staff they said "oops sorry"! I hate to think if I had Cancer!

My Dr told me to have my colonoscopy with the Dr, he said I didn’t need to see him in the office. The office would send me instructions, do the prep, make an appointment. The Dr does the test and never talks to you. It was fine with me. I got the test over with and got my negative results.

Dr. Nakshabendi is great with colonoscopies and endoscopies but there is a disconnect with the patients. I never got to meet him or see him until the day of the procedure. His PAs are who you see everytime I went to the office.
