Dr. Jade Mas Koba, MD

I regret to say that my experience with Dr. Mas Koba was disappointing. She provided me with inaccurate information which resulted in significant inconvenience. I did not feel that she prioritized my best interests as a patient.

I’ve had some bad experiences recently and was not sure what to expect.Dr.MAs was great! Listened, cared, took excellent care of me and provided a solution for a long standing problem for me.I am very pleased with her expertise and care.I hope she dosent move away so I wouldn’t be able to see her again.

She is amazing! By far the best OB I have been seen by. She is super friendly and explains everything. She is non judgmental and knowledgeable. She made me feel safe to say or ask anything bothering me. I requested her for every visit. This was my first pregnancy and she calmed all my nerves and made me feel better. I want her for my next kid!

Dr. Mas is great. She took her time to explain what was happening with my ovarian cysts. She answered all my questions. When it came down to prepping for surgery day. She was always ready to explain the process and was able to save my ovary and prevent having a hysterectomy. Will always be grateful and will continue going back to her.

She was very condescending during a routine exam. As I was discussing my concerns, it was quickly dismissed and accusations of "having several partners" was brought up to which I reminded her I was in fact married and did not appreciate that. She then kept pushing contraception on me even after informing her of the terrible side effects I have had to which she replied with how I'm being careless and will put my future children at risk for a poor life with how I'm handling my sexual health. Again, very condescending and judgmental. Any concern I had was written off as a joke it seemed. Afterwards she implied I needed several procedures done "to be sure everything is ok because I felt something off" although she gave no medical explanation to what was "off" and all my tests came back normal to which was written off as "well guess it's not gynecological". Are you serious? I question even going back to the office she's at given the poor treatment from everyone there.

I believe Dr Mas could be a good dr if you’re having an easy pregnancy. If you’re having a symptomatic one and looking for a supportive Dr, she’s not it. My complaints were brushed off as being “normal” and when I spoke up about how I felt, she made me feel wrong for doing so. When I asked why she was making decisions regarding my pregnancy she stated “that’s just not how I do things”, but no medical explanation. After delivery, I struggled to walk on my own, which confirmed to me, my complaints were valid. I believe had I seen a different dr sooner, I would have enjoyed my pregnancy more.
