Dr. Denning is the BEST
We traveled from Virginia to see Dr. Denning regarding a sports injury (broken femur) for our son. Dr. Denning has INCREDIBLE bedside manner. She explained everything to us and our son (14 yr old) in such a respectful and understandable way. She did an incredible job during the difficult surgery and reassured us every step of the way. One of the things we appreciated most is that she remained flexible in her approach to the surgery and really took all factors into consideration. She has been incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions throughout the recovery process. I cannot recommend Dr. Denning highly enough!! If you live in an area with limited pediatric orthopedic surgeon options and you are considering traveling for your child's procedure, DO IT. If we've said it once, we've said it 100 times - we are SOOOO thankful that we decided to wait and get a second opinion and trusted Dr. Denning with our son's care.
