This guy was truly awful. I had a concussion and went to his office for help. He kept me waiting for two hours, while some yahoo resident asked me for all kinds of irrelevant information. Then Jaime comes in and asks me to "define a concussion for him." He did this so he could tell me I was wrong. Awesome. Then he prescribed no less than 8 different therapies. I figured out this would have cost me over 40,000. Look, if you prescribe 8 therapies you are effectively saying: I have no idea how to treat you so we'll try anything and everything (while you pay). Idiotic. I did my own research and figured out the 2 therapies that made sense (vision and vestibular - only one of which he prescribed). So, I did his job for him. What in the world, Stanford???

Dr. López misdiagnosed me. He then continued to see me for close to one year, without adequately explaining his medical opinion or offering effective treatment. What a waste of time. In that time, I could have gotten treatment and relief from the appropriate doctors. Currently I see a neurologist who understands and treats my condition. It's a shame Dr. Lopez made such an egregious error. As a woman, I was not comfortable with his attitude towards women; rather condescending and insulting.

I have seen 6 neurologist for Botox to treat my cervical dystonia over the past 14 years in both Va. and California. Doctor Lopez ranks as one of the best if not the best. He listens to my concerns, makes adjustments and injects the correct amount of Botox in the correct muscles to provide me maximum relief from quarter to quarter.
